[quote="Kokoro Daisuke"]I believe the plural for both anime and manga are...anime and maga. ^_^]
Oh, pet peeve of mine! I TOTALLY understand, Koko.
Manga? Well, if you hopped on over to the manga forum, there are actually two or three threads about clean manga that you could get alot out of. Until then, I'll just list some names I think you should look into. These mangas may contain some more minor language (no "f" words or anything). In general, there shouldn't be any nudity, but it there is, it will be super minor, magical girl type stuff. I'll list the most outstanding objectionable content to the right of the title. Okay, with the technicalities aside:
Fruits Basket (language, mild homosexual innuendoes. Sort of, I guess)
Pretear (Nothing really. Maybe a tiny magical girl transformation every once and a while)
DNAngel (Language, and a few other mild things. Ask and I'll give you more details)
Imadoki (Language, a character is pregnant outside of marriage, few mild innuendos, and we see the lower edge of a girls underwear just once. And it's not really that big a deal.)
Tsubasa (Language and the Time-space witch [if that's her name] shows some cleveage)
XXXholic (The time space witch likes her alcohol. Alot. Also, she wears alot of cleveage barring outfits. Futhermore, there's a lot of magic, and you'll have to decide how you feel about that.)
That's just a couple off the top of my thread. You can get a more complete view of any content issues if you use the search button at the top of the page and search for the titles. There should be a thread for every manga or something. If there's not, start one or you can PM me. I'd be happy to help you out!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill.
Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.
Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.
But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality,
