I like Inuyasha, but I feel its...OVER-appreciated.
I agree with Hitokiri though. as I watch the anime, it seems that they start too hvae a LOT of filler episodes...until Bankotsu and co. come...cuz they're cool. But once they 'left' it got boring again. XD (Essp. the ending...ergh. that made me mad)

It ended in Japan but the U.S. is still a couple seasons behind. There's something like a total of 167 episodes(episodes 166-167 are a special two parter)and I think
we're only somewhere in the 70s episode wise. There's a place called Inuyasha
World or something like that has a lot of information on the episodes, characters, etc.
I don't know the url for it off hand but if you want to read up about upcoming episodes before they're shown on CN in the States that's as good a place as
any.

An example would be that a friend of mine took a class to learn all about another religion, part of her requirements to have a religion major, surely that isn't wrong. And surely it would be much worse than any show could be.

True, but we also have to remember to keep our guard up since the world is full of bad influences. I guess it just comes down to what you feel like the Holy Spirit is telling you.

What do you mean? Lupin's great! What's wrong with it?

I don't think they do any dubbing. Blame bad dubs on the distributer, not the network. I prefer subs, but I'll take what I can get.

I can't tolerate most dubs. The only ones I really like are Trigun and Lupin. The Japanese versions are always so much better. Dubs take away from the experience for me. >_<;

I'm the opposite.Of course I have to admit in my brief career as an otaku I haven't seen any of the subtitled versions. On the other hand since I'm
older I find it easier to follow along the dialog in English, trying to read
and follow what's going on the screen is too hard for my poor brain.
btw:I don't think that there's anything wrong with enjoying the subs,if that's how you enjoy anime, just as there is nothing wrong with people like me
enjoying the dubs.
People should enjoy whatever form of anime they like when it comes to
the English version.

Japanese versions are better, obviously because they are the 'originals.' But sometimes, the dubbed are better than the original. For example, I likes the Furuba dubbed better than the original.

But anyway, overall the Inuyasha series is good, except for the anime ending. I would recommend watching it in the subbed version, if you like subbed. Mostly because some of the english dubbed voices can get annoying, and the kind of butcher the names.

Yeah, I will DEFINITELY watch it subbed when the first disc comes from Netflix on Wednesday.
mitsuki lover, I used to think that too (hard to read subtitles and watch the actual show at once), but it actually isn't as bad as it sounds. And it's more than worth it, anime in original forms rules all. ^^ But then that's just my opinion. There's nothing wrong with liking dubbed anime more than the original, as long as it isn't something by 4Kids Entertainment of course. ;)
