This is in the wrong forum, but I'll try to help.

[sarcasm] Oh yes, Hellsing is good for kids and is a very pro-Christian series. [/sarcasm]

Unfortunately there aren't going to be a lot of manga or anime that's pro-Christian. Less than 1% of Japan's population is Christian, and though it is sometimes considered cool or stylish to use religious themes, there really aren't any that are pro-Christian.

There are some anime/manga that use religious themes, but in a blasphemous way. Hellsing, Evangelion, most fantasy...

As much as I hate to say this, sometimes you must compromise. Just find something that isn't too chock-full of bad stuff. Usually anything rated at 13+ isn't very bad. Some minor swearing, a bit of innuendo, and some violence, but that's usually it. Avoid fantasy, since it usually deals heavily with magic.

I'll reccomend One Piece. It's somewhat violent, but it's a Shounen series. Basically all of the language has been edited out by VIZ, and there are no religious or 'magic' themes at all. Aside from the "Devil Fruit" , which is just a term used to describe the effect of the fruit, there should be nothing objectionable.

Tactics by Sakura Kinoshita is a fairly clean manga series that may be worth looking into. I do warn that the main character works with Japanese folklore, so there's a Buhddist/Shintoist influence in the series, and a tiny bit of what could be deemed 'magic,' but if you're okay with that then definitely give it a shot.

I'd also recommend looking into some of the Gundam series (namely 08th MS Team, Gundam Wing, and Gundam SEED). It's not manga, but they make for good watching. If you watch the cut version, there's no cussing, but plenty of action. :thumb:

Are you looking for manga or anime? I'm a bit confused by your post/titl.e
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Angelic Layer is not very girly, still has a lot of action, and a great theme that size doesn't matter.

Gundam Seed, manga and anime.
Rouruni Kenshin, manga and anime.

R-Kenshin is violant but has like no fanservice or nudity. Seed has like one or two points of fanservice in the anime and manga combined. Pretty clean in that department. Also G-Seed is violant and has a little language.

Maybe Cyborg 009. I only have vol one, but the only thing to object too is a little language.

I don't know the Forums stance on Fansubs or Scanslation so I'll just ask: Would be linking to English unlicensed anime fansubs and manga scanslations against the rules?

If it isn't, I'd definitely recommend Death Note. It's about a guy called Light who is pretty popular and intelligent]PS:[/B] The manga is by the mangaka who did Hikari no Go.

They pretty much kiddified it. I mean Sanji was smoking all the time in the original (his trademark so to say). And now he sucks lolly pops :wow!:

Not in the manga...
Viz hasn't made any graphical changes to the One Piece manga. It is rated T for Teens.
Viz seems to have toned the language down, something that I found somewhat odd.

My bad, I had misread that part. I was refering to the 4Kids anime version.

Yes, I am. People are also speculating how they will modify Captain Smoker who's a guy who attacks with cigarette smoke and has cigars all over his body.

I would have to agree with Alberto. It really takes a lot of discernment to watch and appreciate anime. One must remember that anime comes from a culture that thinks Christianity is a fad. But then again anything that you take in from the media nowadays you have to siff through to see what is worthy and Godly and disregard what is ungodly. Remember Philippians 4:8!!!!

I DO, I DO! Ya, I love that manga. But beware that Vol.4 and 6 are pretty out there. Kinda unsettling. But it's still a pretty good series.

Saint Tail is about a Christian schoolgirl. ^_^
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!
