I wish my library had manga! I definitely recommend Marmalade Boy (it's a personal fave) and Kodocha.
Marmalade Boy is about a high-schooler named Miki who is shocked when her parents come home from a trip and announce that they're getting a divorce. Not only that, they're switching partners with a couple that they met on their trip! Miki is understandably very upset about this, and goes with her parents to meet the other couple and their son. She hopes that the son would be on her side in opposition to the switching partners, but to her surprise he's fine with it! Plus, he seems to be a real jerk, at least to her. And so begins a crazy journey on which there are ups and downs and twists and....lol, I sound like a commentator. I really love this series and totally recommend it.
Kodocha is a very cute romantic comedy about a hyperacitve, 11 year old actress named Sana. Sana is a very happy, loving girl, but a boy named Akito is messing up her perfect world. At school, he stirs up a group of boys in his class every day so that they never get any work done. She gets really annoyed by this, and does what's in her power to get him to stop. Although very lighthearted most of the time, this series can get serious, and is worth reading. Hope I've helped!
