What's your favourite music from animes?

I enjoy Gundam WIng's Two-Mix, and Giant Robo's National Poland Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.

There are many others I enjoy, such as "Evolution" by Ayumi Hamasaki.

List some of yours..

I really like the music from .hack and Noir (both done by the same folks, I believe). I listen to them the most.

If I'm feeling old school, then Project A-ko or Bubblegum Crisis get the nod.

I really enjoyed the music from Noir, Tenchi Muyo in Love and especially Chance Pop Session. There are more titles, just can't think of them at the time :P

I like a lot from a lot of shows. I really like the intros and endings to G-Seed. Believe rocks, Invoke is an aswome "stomper" as newtype called it, and the see-saw first ending is awsome. I am finding I like a lot of see-saw songs. I also love the .hack//sign intro by them, Obssession. I also have a lot of two-mix. Rythum Emotion, White Reflection, Just Communication. I have the pure and remix of each. I also have an English mix of Just communication. I like the noir intro, Kurika's song, and the Melodie. Have all of those two. The music from cowboy bebob is cool to. I have lot of anime music...

Two-Mix has produced some excellent tunes. Has anyone seen their White Reflections music video? Check it out here: http://www.toonamiarsenal.com.

Click 'downloads', 'Gundam Wing', and it's in the "Other Stuff".

I like the music from Rurouni Kenshin, Inu Yasha, and Tenchi Muyo, Kikki's Delivery Service too.

My favorite piece I think is "Her Most Beautiful Smile" from the Kenshin OVA. I also like "The Sound of Snow Falling", also from the OVA. Sobakasu/Freckles, and It's Gonna Rain, Heart of Sword, Yahiko's Image Song, etc.

From Tenchi Muyo, Love Song (Tenchi Forever) and Alchemy of Love (Tenchi the Movie) Tenchi to Ryoko (Instrumental theme from Tenchi Forever) etc

Oh Angel (Fatal Fury the Movie)

Song-wise, Pocket Monsters (plenty of variety. Considering how long the show has gone, and that there are 7 movies out (and an 8th on the way), it has alot of music. My personal favorite though are probably Chiisaki Mono (from the 6th film, my favorite song period), Mezase Pokemon Masutaa (the first opening theme, a classic, and still sounds excellent and perfect for the anime), Soko Ni Sora Ga Aru Kara (1st Advance Generation ending), and Pokemon Symphonic Medley (newest ending, has some cool, dramatic choir singing, but alot more plain score than just singing)), Ai Yori Aoshi (I love the opening and ending. I also love Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi's opening), and Rurouni Kenshin (three openings and quite a few endings, many which I loved) have my vote.
Score-wise, Pocket Monsters (alot of music with alot of variety. Only a fraction of the show's music is on CD, but some of the best is there. The music can be light and somewhat silly at times, it can be intense and draw you in, it can inspire confidence, or it can even be sad. I've listened to alot of the music and the orchestration is simply excellent. It didn't win 4 awards for nothing (BTW, this is the Japanese version, not the lousy dub where alot of music is poor 4Kids throw-in stuff)), Ai Yori Aoshi (I love the traditional Japanese sounding stuff. Very pretty. And even the stuff that doesn't sound as traditional is also excellent. Music for many situations), Samurai X (very beautiful score, some fast pacing and intense, some slow and calming. Must have on CD), and Someday's Dreamers (alot of great piano music, among other things. One of the prettiest scores I've ever heard in something animated, maybe out of anything) steal the show. I also liked Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, and a few others, but the former take the cake. ^^

Probably my favorite in terms of consistency as well as quality is .Hack//Sign; almost all of the tracks are good, not just some of them. The Naruto soundtracks have a number of good pieces, but there are also some that are downright annoying. The Hellsing music is excellent, and the soundtracks from Last Exile and Vampire Princess Miyu are also fairly good. Wolf's Rain has some good music, although I haven't heard the soundtrack by itself.
