thank you Anna Mae. ^_^

here's some i found scribbled down in my scrapbooks. they really suck. o.o;;

Hiding Away

Here I am
Alone.
Again

Shutting myself away
Keeping out the world
Hiding away.
Again

They don’t need me
All I cause is pain

What shall I do?
Father - you know I try

But I just can’t control it
And it’s hurting everyone

Why can’t I stop?
Stop rejecting?
Stop pushing people away?

I cannot accept affection
I’m hiding away again

I cannot stop these feelings
I cannot stop the way I am

I need your help Almighty
I’m hiding away again

----------------------

When I feel so sad and lonely
Do you feel it too?

Do you also remember
The things we used to do?

These memories are choking me
They hurt me uncontrollably
For I am missing you so much
I wish I could see you again

Memories of happiness
Memories of loneliness
Either way they’re
Killing me
As I try to forget

But forgetting I know would not help
For I want to remember.

more stupid scrapbook stuff:
(i don't know, but it just feels like i can't write anything anymore. -_-
everything sounds the same... )

----------------------------

Doubt is absorbing me
Pinning me to the ground

Driving swords into me
Leaving me to the dead

I do not know where to go
Or, who to turn to

My life has been such a misery
The people in it a mystery

Nothing I do is working
Nothing I say is heard

So sitting here is what I shall do
Until I fade away

----------------------------

Happiness turned into a monster
And now it’s chasing me

Rivers of water turned to blood
Spilling me with sorrow

Like strings pulling me apart
I’m slowly being decomposed

Everything I am is dying
Everything I was is a lie

Everything
Is over

Once again, a bunch of excellent poems. I went through a time where I felt like all my poetry sounded the same: full of hyperbole and depressing. In retrospect, though, I consider them some of my better works. Poetry is to express our feelings, is it not?

I especially like your last two. I've felt just like that not too long ago.

My past is a monster
Cutting at my heart

All the things I did
what I didn’t

I wish I could go back
Change it all

Take away the sin
Remove the hate

My mind was sick
My life a torture

What if You didn’t come?
What would I be today?

A haunting past
By evil infected

I feel so ashamed
So embarrassed

Yet I cannot help
Cannot help - looking back…

*mouth drops to floor*
Wow, those are very good! ^_^ I really really like them, Sunet!
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Digging

I dug a hole
You watched me fall

But that’s okay
Cause I know who you are

I left you on the surface
I fell to the earth

And when I get out
I will feel His strength

I will look you in the eye
And tell you it’s all over

Cause while I was digging..
I realized the truth

That you are part of the reason I’m hurting
Part of the reason I’m here in the first place

I let myself be lead by you
I tripped and you didn’t catch me

And now I’m in this hole
And God is helping me to get out

He’s breaking your forces
He’s giving me strength

He will overcome

--------

A haunting face
That’s all you are
Cemented in my memories

Confusing me still,
Even to this day

All happened so long ago
But I remember well

The good and the bad
Yes. I remember

When will you leave my dreams?
When will you go away?

My thoughts are clouded by your words
They echo in my head

I need you to leave
But I want you to stay
I don’t want the memories to die

I want to return
To see your face again

But all is over
Nothing could ever be
And I drown
In my hopeless misery

----------------------

These shadows are vanishing
Slowly being illuminated by your holy Light

I don’t know what I was thinking
Why I put up a fight
Why I ignored your voice
For all I ever needed
Was the love that you gave
The shelter you provided

Your words are calming and soft
They reach into my soul

Feeding me, satisfying the starvation
That I have felt for so long

Abba, you saved me
You helped me
You love me

Thank you I pray
Thank you salvation
Thank you
Almighty, my God

meh. all my poems sound the same

-------------------------------

God, I need you near me
I need to rest so badly
Catch me in your arms
As I fall asleep

So weary;
All my problems dragging me down
I’m sinking into the ground
I’m too tired to try to get out

I’m exhausted from all these burdens
I just want them to go away

Lord, will you help me?
You know I can’t do this alone

You are my guidance
My strength
My every breath

I was stuck on a road going nowhere
But then you came and showed me where to go

------------------------------------------------------

I realize now that I am not complete
I am lost
Still so far away from anything
I feel like I am still the same
Like I have not changed at all
But yet, I have come so far

Am I falling deep into my sin again?
Will I be able to get up?

I cannot feel you
I fear you have forgotten me
But I know you did not

I love you
And I know you are there

You lift my spirits high
You bandage my wounds

You feed my soul
And I thank you

I don’t want to fall again
I never want to go back

I want forgiveness
I want to forget

I want to be closer to you
I want to live like you want me to
I want to be your child
I want to live like you do
