How tall is Kenshin?

Somewhere I read he was 5'3"...but...can anyone verify this?

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I can only tell you he was supposed to be below average in height. The historical individual he was based on was short and fair faced, frequently disguising himself as a woman to carry out his assassinations.

You're 21 and 5'3''? Hahhahahahhaha! No, just kidding. Really. I just am glad that I met the 5'5'' or 6'' mark. My family is tall. I'm a shorty. Anyway....
Not to echo HOS, but whoa! Whoda thought.

Oh my gosh! He would look like a dwarf next to me, and I'm not even a tall girl!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Perhaps he's a dwarf, you never know..... :)

But my guess is about he's umm.... about 5'3" to 5'5" as well. I mean he's not really tall by any means. I mean he's shorter then Saitoh, Sano and Shinamori. They all seem about 6 feet tall or a bit shorter.

I'm guessing that he's about five feet tall. I know I read his height somewhere. probably somwhere on kenshin.gamesurf.it or some site like that. I'll check on it

From everything I read I believe Kenshin is 5`3". After looking up some stuff on google, there is mentioning of him being "short", "not very tall", etc. But not an exact height. Meh~

@Sunako: "The character of Himura Kenshin was based on a real person named Kawakami Gensai."

(Just look up "Kawakami Gensai" or "Ishin Shishi" on google for further information.)

I'm fourteen, about 5'7", and i shave, so I'm constanly being mistaken for being older than i really am!

I checked on the site I mentioned and i couldn't find his hight. sorry

I recall correctly, Kenshin is supposed to be 5'3".

Oh wait, it's 5'2"

Sano seems like a giant compared to many of the other characters, and he's only 5'10". (My height)

Interesting that the "real" Kenshin got executed not too long after the revolution.

Actually I thought it was pretty interesting that the manga author admitted he didn't know much at all about the era.

Five-Two? Oh wait, I think i did know that! Where did this 5'3'' come from? By the way, this thread started after me and HOS had a little "discussion" about this certain topic.

AnimeHeretic, the funny thing is, the manga is where I get my Japanese culture and history from!!! I really am clueless, 'cause now I remember him saying that, too. I just seem to selectively forget or something.
