waves of crashing wonder
wash over me
take my breath,
take my soul
invade all that i am
fill me whole
with blood and scorn.
These waves invade me
they take with them all that is evil into my soul
i feel the hatred
i feel the pain
harder then the nails i feel beside me
they do much worse
they take my heart
they stall my cries
they take my God away from me.
my heart is to burst
blood falls from me
the waves do this too.
angels wail while demons triumph
and the men below have no clue
to why i do such a thing
to why i let myself be consumed by this sea of desolence.
They wash and pour from the people before me
oblivious they do not see
but these waves invade me
coming from unseen futures,
untold past
they come into me
weigh me down
until i am full and the waves have stopped
It is done.
