Hello everyone. I've been looking around this site for a while and finally decided to join. A few of my favorite anime are Evangelion, .Hack//Sign, Haibane Renmei, Bleach, and Samurai X. I look forward to meeting you all.

Hmm, what else is there to say besides that I'm a Christian and I like anime? I'm an English Lit major in college. I like Dostoyevsky, Ballydowse, and snow. The last anime series I finished watching was Vampire Princess Miyu, which was strange and disturbing.

I have. Some other favorites are Frankenstein (Mary Shelley), Heart of Darkness (Joseph Conrad), and Les Miserables (Victor Hugo). C. S. Lewis and Tolkien are great, too.

Ohhhhh...all excellent choices

If I may so inquire, have you read The Divine Comedy?

I do not, so I doubt we've met before. Kaori must be a common name.

Welcome to our forums. I have seen a number of your posts and determined I should welcome you in the proper context.

It was not long ago that I finished Heart of Darkness for the first time. I have a great deal of respect for Conrad, but I cannot say the book ranks among my favorites.

Glad to have you with us - I'm a former English Lit. Major, and even though I changed, I still thoroughly enjoy the subject. A Haibane Renmei fan as well? Nice.
