I think that the two characters most likely to be christians if they were real are vash and kenshin.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

I'm not collected enough to put my own anime Christians on, but I'd like to clarify one thing. When you say "Christian" do you mean they're involved with the organized religion, or do you mean they actually act according to its principles? If it's the former, you already have some in a few animes. Wolfwood, for example.

Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket), I just can see her as one.

In one of the translations for the later chapters of the manga, there is 'this'. I still don't have an idea it was literally translated.. but certainly nice. :D Tohru returns from her grandpa and Kyo finds her in front of the house.. if I remember correctly.

Tohru:
You...
surprised me Kyo...
For a moment, I thought
Christ had come...

Yeah, Tohru Honda definitely ^^ She has got to be the most loving, wise, and polite anime char I ever came across. She has that "unconditional love" down PERFECTLY.

What about Ein from Cowboy Bebop? He never did anything to anyone. Plus, he's a cute dog.

Okay, so I'm kidding.

While we're speaking of dogs, I should add Bee (of DBZ). I'm not actually kidding as much, this time. He's a good deal more righteous than most characters, despite his minor role. Of course, he is a dog...

But let's not get this off-topic...
