<<I would have to say FLCL, or fooly cooly i think its also called, it was just so random and horrible...>>
GAH! *dies of being insulted* FLCL is my favorite anime ever! It's not as random once you watch it three or four times, in Japanese and English... But I'm one of those people who see a deep meaning in it, so maybe it's just me...
The absolute worst? Hmmm.... I don't know. I sorta like everything I see, so I don't know...
Think happy thoughts.

Worst...worst....*thinks*
Well, DBZ is something I can't watch for more than five minutes or a time. *hides from fanboys* I dunno, maybe if I actually managed to watch a whole episode, it wouldn't be that bad, but...I can actually sit through entire episodes of other shows like Pokemon, Code Lyoko, and Totally Spies and at least VAGUELY enjoy myself. (In the case of Totally Spies, I'd actually really like it if it just wasn't so GIRLY and CORNY.) But DBZ? Nope. Can't sit through it.
Mon Colle Knights was pretty bad, too. And Fighting Foodons...really...half of the dubbed anime shown on Fox. XD

I forgot about DBZ! >.< I can't stand the animation for it...I'm really picky when it comes to anime. ^^; Heehee. Pokemon isn't that bad actually, and I kind of like Yu-Gi-Oh. O.o Weird.

Mine would be Dragonball and Biohunter.

Oh, I left out "anything Dragonball" and Sailor Moon as well.

It wasn't the animation in DBZ that bugged me so much, the re-used cels don't irk me to a great degree. What bugged me was the crappy writing, and how there would eight-episode-long fights, with entire episodes devoted to characters saying "I've never seen such power!" and Goku charging up some ridiculous technique. In short: the writing sucks.
Yeah, I'm that opinionated.

So otaku, but not...

Very true, but some of the first season had some awesome kick-butt episodes! I love that old skool rough look that it used to have. Once that was gone, the magic just pretty much left. Plus the animation looked crappier even though it was more recent. (Strange...)

Oh, I've heard about that manga before. It looks SO lame. I know there's basically a catagory for everything in Manga and Anime, but c'mon, it's gotta stop at some point. LOL!

Without a doubt, the worst anime I've ever seen is Tamala 2010. There is virtually no plot, no animation, no dialogue (aside from several mind-numbing philosophical monologues at the end), virtually no music, no coherence in general, no climax (it just sort of stops), and WAY too much gratuitous crudeness. But the worst part is, it's so DULL. FLCL may not make sence, but at least it's entertaining is it's high-energy wackiness, but Tamala 2010 is quite litterally the slowest movie I have ever seen. To any MSTies out there, I say that Tamala 2010 is practically the "Manos" of anime" (To everyone else, I just say "avoid at all costs")

Final Fantasy Unlimited, it had very little to do with the games except it having Chocobos and it had a weak story and plot structure. this is why i don't like anime based on video games

Um, Tokyo Godfathers. But I watched it so I could write a review. I did. It was bad. Now everyone knows. ;) So I guess it accomplished its purpose.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

worst anime i've seen is prolly those ridiculous kiddie animes they play on FoxBox. if you get mad at me for saying that, I really don't care, this is just my opinion anyway. :P

Ya! Don't dis the kiddie anime! They are not meant for you! Let them live peacefully in their little corner of the universe!

Incidentally, some people here that are learning English as a second language tell me that they like the kid shows (namely FoxBox and Arthur) because the language is simpler and easier to practice with.

Eden's Bowy. Hentai aside, I have never seen any show that was so well-roundedly offensive.

First off, the premise is utterly blasphemous. The main character is one of the "god hunters," who use plot-hole-given super-powers to literally kill God with swords. As the prologue explains that God was killed long before the events of the story take place, the main purpose of the god hunters seems to be to get all glowy and Supa Saiyan for the sole purpose of having random people comment on their redundantly blasphemous superosity.

As if this weren't enough, the directing is nothing short of inept, rendering the wire-thin plotline almost inscrutable and shifting tones in a manner that may leave viewers confused and enraged. In one particularly shining example of stupidity, the main character wrecks the tearful moment following the death of his father by going super-deformed and running off into the distance with waterfalls spouting from his cheeks.

To top it off, the characters are paper thin and the art is subpar, making it a mystery how I managed to watch two DVDs without tearing my eyes out with a spork.

FLCL's great. Just takes a little mental bandwith and knowledge of Japanese pop culture and GAINAX in-jokes to understand.

Ebichu, eh? One of my friends really like that show, and after being introduced to it by her, I was like "What the heck? How can you watch this crap? It shows people having sex!" To which her reply was "But there's a little cute hamster and that makes everything alright!" Figures.

Here's my pick for worst anime ever: Yokohama Shopping. You may not have heard of this, but this is an anime in which you spend 10 minutes watching a POT BOIL. There was no excuse for the slowness of this anime. There wasn't even any kind of profound point/allegory/commentary in the end. I'd rather watch a pot...oh wait, I did that already.

The worst anime I saw was Icer zero. My dad got a VHS dub and it was horrid!
The dubing was pathetic. I have never heard such a bad dub. I don't know if its any better in Japanese but with that first impression I don't think I'll bother.

Oh...oh my. Is it really ten minutes? All at once? That's insane!

To make this monstrosity somewhat more bearable, maybe it's a really convoluted illustration of the old saying! The pot just keeps heating and heating and you're all "Aw man, this thing is never gonna boil! It's like some saying that has something to do with boiling, and pots!" Come to think of it, it's like you're part of the anime, because you're either insanely bored waiting for the pot to boil in real time or saccharine and ditzy enough to actually be entertained by it! You are fully integrated into the fictional experience! What a breakthrough!

HyperSpeed Grandoll....awww man so bad. "Seeenior! Seeenior!"

Not a huge Lain fan either. I borrowed the series from a friend and I'd heard so many good things about it. It just wasn't at all enjoyable for me.

People don't like FLCL! Ack! I love it! I have a fantastic FLCL wallpaper right now.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

I didn't think either of these series were too bad until I found out how ridiculously repeative they were. O.o Sailor Moon always ended with the same attack. Goku always spent 5-25 episodes screaming and changing his hair color to beat 'the impossible enemy'.

*death-glare* How could you not like 08th! I personally don't find the bath scene offensive, I mean, it could be worse. And plus, most Gundam series DO have some brief nudity in them, but it's never sexual (and as long as it's not sexual, I'm usually fine with it). Well, that's my two-cents...

Hey... I like Samurai Pizza Cats.

Let's see, so many, so many...
First I have to say 70's Devilman. Now, it's one of my favourites, only because of how big of a travesty it is. It's horrid animation from the seventies by Go Nagai. Hilariously bad.
What else...what else....Hmm, anything that 4Kids dubs. Also, that terrible Cowboy Bebop. :thumb:
