Safe Journey

Postby Master Kenzo » Wed Jun 11, 2003 5:28 pm

Hey guys, I'd just like to pray for the safety of my school's grad trip next week...We're going to Montreal by coach, and knowing the 401, there is a pretty big risk.

Prayer for a safe trip would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys, and thanks God in advance :)

You bet! Father, keep them safe on their trip to Montreal....in Jesus' name, amen. Have a good time!

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

When does your trip end? I'll do my best to pray for you before then.

You have a save trip (and have FUN :P hehe) I pray our Lord Jesus will keep you (as well as everyone else safe in His arms.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Not sure what time zone you're in, or when you'll get back, but welcome back anyway. I hope you had a safe and enjoyable trip. You were in my prayers.

I'm back, thanks for all the prayers! The bus didn't crash, neither did the cruise ship, nor did I fall off a tall place, drown in the Olympic pool, get my eyes pecked out by various creatures in the Biodome, or any of the other millions of ways the trip could come to a quick end. (Although some of the roller coasters at La Ronde were so jerky and had such bad chainlift angles I felt like it was going to fall, and the log flume's chain lift had no interlockage with the log, which was freaky, but at least at a reasonable angle)

Thanks for the prayers, and it was really fun too ^_^
