Bonjour!

Postby Magiroth » Sat Oct 16, 2004 1:02 am

Hi everyone! I hail from Canada AKA the Great White North, (not that it ever snows on the coast, but meh, I like to keep the myth going.) Warm and snug in my egloo, I wile the long artic nights away with anime, and attend the local university-igloo, learning the histories of other, warmer countries. (History major, if you must know. Now that's a major with a career! NOT) Japan always sounded balmy to me, hence my interest in it. (They also have a philosophy known as Bushido, which also interests me... :P ).

As for the 'Ol Christian walk, I have been in the 'Bubble' for so long now, I don't think I EVER want to leave. Home-schooled, Christian high school, Bible College, Christian university, whoo, the bubble never stops! (I fear that 'poping' noise tho... :wow!:

Don't know what else to type, I just finished Big O, and was searching the 'net for someone who actually understood the ending, and I hit upon these forums.

Oh yeah, Must... Not.... Talk... About.... NGE... GAH! So hard... vision fading.... need, giant robot....

Greating, oh wanderer from the north! Welkomce to the maddness! :brow:

I hear about life in the bubble, though (especially since God is in the process of tossing me out of mine. Eeps )

Yeah, what's up dude? Don't worry about the history major. My little brother is majoring in Liberal Arts. I told him to get used to saying, "Would you like fries with that?"

Well, I don't have much else to say but welcome. See ya around.

Hi and welcome, Magiroth! ^___^ I love history; what a wonderful major.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Hi, Magiroth! *offers handshake* eh, sorry, I'm out of sugar today...

People: What, you finally ate it all, Vashage?

Ssjjvash: Wah! It wasn't me! It was those spooks I tell you!

Ah, yes the bubble, I've been in it for some time now, I've been in a Christian since first grade (now a shophmore) except pre-k and kindergarten and up until this year due to some financial issues, but oh how I miss that bubble and all my friends and Bible teacher whom helped me grow in Christ, hopefully I'll be able to return next semester ^_^ but anyways Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay
