Been here since September and still haven't done this...*ahem*...

Postby Destroyer2000 » Fri Mar 12, 2004 6:00 pm

My real name is Patrick, but I go by Jason alot. I like Anime, manga, and the Bible (of course). I enjoy swordfighting, and I've received a few scars from it, meh heh. Well...I've nver been good at introductions, so...well, as for the swordfighting, I'm kinda short, and I can move quickly. That gives me and advantage, but...since I use a katana, that is somewhat of a disadvantage. Oh, yes, I'm 14, was born on September 15, 1989. Call me Jason or Patrick, whichever pleases you. As far as I know, I have Irish, German, Dutch, Italian, and a few other European races' blood in me, although they're all quite distant. I'm normal American, meh. If all this information is a bit muddled, I'm writing (well, typing, really) it as it comes to me. Hm...I guess that's it, for now.

You actually fight with a live blade :eh: ! That's uber dangerous. What style are you trained in?

Jason or Patrick? Hmm. How about I just call you Jatrick? Or maybe Pason?

Hey, thanks for posting this and letting everyone at the CAA get to know you, Patrick/Jason.

Quick question: with your interest in swordplay, have you ever considered doing a Martial Arts, or even Kendo (Japanese sword style)? Who knows, it could be fuuuun! *~_~*

Thanks for letting us get to know you better! :)

I've heard you talk about swordfighting with friends before. How does that work? In other words, how do you know when to stop, do you always use real weapons, etc.

Hm...call me what you like, it doesn't matter. I've thought about training, but there's no dojo around here, so I pretty much teach myself. When my friend and I fight with real swords, we do it somewhat slowly, and not hard. When we fight with staffs, or some plastic batts I bought for that purpose, it's a bit faster. We stop usually when we take enough of a beating, or when we run out of energy. We usually DON'T use real weapons, unless one person is watching for flaws in an attack. Ya know Kenshin's Ryu Tsui Sen? It hurts....lol, I mean it hurts when you try and do it. Can't jump quite that high, lol...

Oh yeah, I don't remember really how I got my name...I've used it on GameFAQs for quite some time, and it's pretty much my universal name now. I did use Lupus on GameFAQs, but that was when I was like, 9, and I joined about a week before the underage rule was introduced. I didn't know about it(I wouldn't know anyway, cause I never read the TOS), and they asked how old we were. I was honest, and that got me banned, lol. I rejoined a few months later as Destroyer2000 and that's how it's been ever since.

7 months ago...wow...I figured I'd bring this up, since I have some new info to put here. It doesn't do any good to have a Bio in the Archives.

My Xanga is here: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=Destroyer2000

It contains alot of stuff about my personal life. I've grown up, matured some since then, and since I orginally posted this.

No. I am not even sure if the Hiten Mitsurugi is a real style or not. As I've said, I've taught myself my own style, which has turned out to be Kiritsukeru no Okami.

Yeah, but there aren't many dojos around here...and I can't drive independently yet.

I turned 15 in September. It'll be nearly a year again before I can get my license.
