You really think so? I say they're great compared to my borign Inuyasha boxset :/ Seriously, those things have a way better layout than Viz's inexpensivly made set :/

You have a point there. I should have pointed out a bit better on which I don't like the most. The s-Cry-ed one just looks like would be easy to get bent or something, since you have to pull part of off to get to the dvd's.

WHR one looks fine. I still like the LE box for WHR better, but this not bad.

I just fear what they may do to the Escaflowne one.

I agree, especially since the LE boxset came with all those goodies (like the OST)

This is about all I could find on it.

The aftermath of a mysterious environmental catastrophe has left the land in complete desolation! While mankind has been able to rebuild the city, the catastrophe has caused some humans to undergo genetic mutations granting them special powers and abilities. These genetically enhanced humans are known as Alters. Kazuma has spent his entire life in the wastelands relying on his special powers to survive, but when a secret organization called ?Holy? threatens to take away his freedom, he will be left with a choice to join or die. His fight to seek the truth behind the ?Holy? will rage and consume humanity and Alter alike!

I guess that's so... Yeah Escaflowne will be something almost has enough money saved up*. Thing is, something is a little scary about the fact that the LE boxset with the DVDs were around $200, and this new one will come with all the DVDs plus the movie (which I already own :/) for half price.I hope at least the cover art from the first and last DVD covers are used.... Pretty pictures are part of my motivation in anime DVD collecting! Well, Inuyasha was a... quite boring package. I expected more outta Viz...

I didn't know that the The Perfect collection was going to have the movie with it too. A friend of mine is trying to find the LE boxset of Escaflowne and the lowest price we have found is $250.

I'm just glad that I preorder mine from anime and comice book shop when I found that it was coming out that year. I only had to play $150 for mine and when I went to AWA con later that year, I saw only three boxsets of it and they were all $200 to $215.

BTW: I was searching for something on AnimeNation and they have a pic of or I hope its the pic for the Escaflowne boxset out.

Looks a little plain for my liking :/ If that IS it, why couldn't it be a little fancied up like the other two pictured above? :/ Shikata ga nai I guess... Oh well, the important part is that your getting the footage *nods*
