There was also this one from Tenchi Universe
[spoiler]When Ryoko "died" taking Tenchi to Jurai. It was so noble of her. But then they ruined everything by giving it a happy ending that fixes everything back to being perfect. The same goes for the two knights.
I like my characters to stay dead. It makes their deaths seem cheap when they come back to life. [/spoiler]

I was just watching Vol. 7 of "12 Kingdoms" and the last two episodes had me bawling. It was so sad. I don't want to spoil it, but there was this little boy - sad kid stories always make me cry - and well, it didn't have a happy ending. T_T

Noir is the one anime that did that to me (though, Fruits Basket and SaiKano came close). It happened when I was thinking about Kirika's pain in episode 21, and also 22 and 24.

Me too. I didnt actually cry but i came close. It was hard not to cry and i had tears in my eyes as i watched it. I guess that does count as crying.

Especially the part where Mitsuki can finally see Meroko. Dang, my eyes were swimmin' by that point. *Sniff. . . .bawl*[/spoiler]

Meroko was my favorite character throughout the entire series, and her selfless act at the end was one of the best scences I've ever seen in an anime. I remember covering my mouth trying so hard not to cry when Meroko's keychain stepped out from behind the music box. And then Mitsuki running past everyone ... ok, this is pathetic, I'm misting up.[/spoiler]

I've cried during one anime show. I was twelve years old. The year was 1999. A little show called Pokemon was in syndication before a giant, evil, greed-filled, cash cow-searching television network known as the WB snatched up the rights to it. The show hadn't had an episode for nearly two months, and one final episode was shown in syndication. That episode was "Pikachu's Goodbye".

When that song came up when Ash was trying to leave Pikachu in the forest of all the other little Pikachus, and then the flashbacks of all of the good times over the past 20-something episodes I had enjoyed ran, I lost it. Boy, that was not my finest hour. I didn't even cry for something cool. Pokemon, of all things. Anyone who reads this has permission to point and laugh. It's okay, go ahead. I'm doing it to myself as I write this.

Aww, I'm not going to laugh at you. I still can't watch "The Fox and the Hound" for the same reason. Besides, if I was to laugh, I'd be the biggest hypocrite because I cried at the end of Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar. I think it's neat that the creators of these shows have put enough life into the characters to make us actually care for them enough to be moved to tears.

The Fox and the Hound was a sad movie too. OH YEAH. I welled up but suppressed the waterworks during Fushigi Yugi's first season because of several scenes. The group finding out what "happened" to Yui, Miaka being betrayed (against this person's will) by a certain member of the Suzaku Seven... I really see what you mean about the creators putting enough life into the characters to make the viewer care. ^^;

My eyes can get a little misted up but I rarely actually shed tears over anything. Anime can get to me though cause I get attached to the characters. Funny thing is, I don't cry when someone dies or when something bad happens in a romance. I end up crying when it deals with very close friends or the character in the series crying about something.

I think everyone who has seen it knows where I cried in that show.

Yeah, at that point tears were definately coming down my cheeks... And in the last ep of Fruits Basket:

[spoiler=END of Fruits Basket]When Tohru's friends see her and Hanajima is keeping Uo from hugging her. I dunno why, that just made me actually cry. The rest of the episode was pretty melancholy too though.[/spoiler]

I think I cry more with friends related things cause I can relate with that more. I haven't fallen in love or anything yet ^^

No... I'm not the type. I control my emotions too well. But I would say that certain moments of Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun are by far the most touching in an anime.

[spoiler=Wolf's Rain]Last night when Toboe {sp?} died on Wolf's Rain, the only thing that stopped me from crying was that it was sooo dang late and I was too darn tired to muster the tears.

There were parts of InuYasha (mostly in the InuYasha/Kagome area,) where what was going on in the show too closly {sp?} symbolized what was going on in my own life.

End of Bebop probably would have had I not been home and wisecracking with my sister at the time.

Many parts of Trigun also pushed the limit.

Some parts of Witch Hunter Robin.[/spoiler]

I rarely ever cry, phyiscally, so I'm mostly just recounting the moments I wanted to cry.

A couple times I've seen some unmarked tags and nothing in the text to suggest what they might be spoiling. Since you're being courteous enough to spoilerize, please also be kind enough to label.

That being said, I forgot to mention that I also cried watching the end of Scrapped Princess.

[SPOILER=Trigun, Sailor Moon, Ai Yori Aoshi, Fushi Yugi]First of all when Wolfwood died in Trigun.
Second, in Sailor Moon S when Neptune broke free from Eudial's trap and ran across the bridge to Uranus and got shot all those times and died.
Third, in Ai Yori Aoshi when Kaoru was remembering getting beaten by his grandfather, and then Aoi saw the scars on his back.
Fourth, in Fushigi Yugi Eikoden at the end when Mayo ran into Taka's arms and kept crying, "I love you!"[/SPOILER]
