I just thought I share this with you all. Since I know alot of you would love to go to an anime con or like to know what one can be like. I wanted to post what I had in my LJ about my trip to AWA this weekend.
Part I
I had a bast this year at AWA. Most of the people that I know couldn't make it to the con this year, and I miss them, but I had fun anyway. I mostly sent my time around the dealer rooms and watch Gundam F91 on Sat night. The best thing was going to see Mari Iijima at her concert and I enjoy it. After the concert, she was signing autographs at the concert. I got a cd sign and my name badge. She was very sweet and kind and took the time to talk to everyone. Then the next day got even better. Mari Iijima did the voice of Lynn Minmay in series Marcross and sang the theme song "Do you remember love? in the Macross movie. I had just brought a old movie poster of the Macross Movie and she was sign autographs again in the dealer rooms. I got her to sign mine and talk to her again and told her thanks for coming to AWA. Then later, Kari Wahlgren was sign autographs in the dealer rooms and I was the last one to find and buy a copy of Newtype USA that was about Witch Hunter Robin. I rush over to get Kari to sign it and did. She did the english voice work for Robin in WHR, Haruko in "FLCL and Cher in "Wolf's Rain. I got to talk to her for a bit and told her how much I love WHR and Robin was my fav female anime lady in that series. I told her that I love love her work in that she has done and she sign my Witch Hunter Robin poster as, To Brad, Thanks for coming, a little hart shape and Kari Wahlgren. That is it for now.
