Postby Kura Ookami » Thu Sep 23, 2004 5:24 am

Hi. I'm new to this place obviously. I've watched all kinds of anime. I think ive watched every genre there is now including hentai. I love playing video games and i write my own stories sometimes. I'll need some help in how to put an avatar up and stuff like that. Lol! Yep. I'm pretty much a total newbie.

Some of my favorate animes are Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Panic, Rahxephon, urotsukidoji, excel saga, Bible Black and Noir. Oh yeah ive seen the cowboy bebop movie and really want to see the tv series but so far i havent found it. Well that pretty much sums me up.

Welcome!

I think I can help...

For an avatar:
1.Go to "User CP"
2.Go to "Edit Avatar"
3.If the picture is online, enter the url of the picture. If the picture is on your computer, click "Browse," then choose the picture you want.
4.Click "Save Changes"

Keep in mind that the size limit is 90x90 pixels, and 14.6 kb. The picture cannot exceed either of those dimensions.

For a signature pic:
1.Go to "User CP"
2.Go to "Edit Signature"
3.In the text editing window (the top row), there is a small yellowish button with a picture of a mountain on it. Click on that, and you will be prompted to enter the url of the picture you want (unfortunately sig pics must be online rather than uploaded, so you'll have to find a picture that is online, or get someone to host the pic if it is on your computer)
4.Click "Save Signature."

You can also include text in your signature. That works is the same was as posting in the forums (through the Edit Signature page).

It's nice to have another gamer on the site :thumb: . What are your favorite games?

Hi! Welcome to CAA!!!

After you get your avatar up, you should go through all the boards and read the "Sticky" posts. Those are messages from the mods about rules, ect. Once you know those, you'll be a less obvious target for *da--dum* da mods *Runs off screaming*

No, really, all the mods are nice, but let's all try and make their jobs easier by knowing and obeying the rules.

Once again, welcome! And, have a good time here.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Out of curiosity, did you really mean "not" instead of "now" in that sentence? It would sort of change the meaning a bit...

Anyway, welcome to the Nuthouse!

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Old philosopher. I thought that both urotsujidoji and Bible Black were hentais. But if gratious scenes of rape and sexual torture dont make something a hentai i sure want to know what does. Lol! Good point on that though. If you changed the now to a not it would indeed make the meaning of what i said completely different.

As for why i like Bible Black well the occult does fasinate me as much as it scares me. I think I'm always going to be curious as to what happens in the occult and how people live when they're part of that community. I guess im always exploring trying to find answers to my many questions. I wish to know for certain what my purpose in life is for example.

Okay, I'll stop babbling on now.
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

Hello, and welcome to CAA Kura Ookami.

I have to admit that your choice in anime does concern me slightly.
I would, however, be interested in hearing what you beleive your ‘purposes in life’ is.

You know, I have this great book that has a lot of answers in it. ;)

Enjoy your stay. ^_^

Later,

-kaji

EDIT: No, the book is not The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy guys.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Welcome. Glad to have you here.

If I might make a note on your sig, "If knowledge is power and power corrupts then study hard and be evil." I don't want to be evil. It's a good thing it's absolute power that most corrupts and I'll always miss studying something.

I like the second statement in your signature "Living causes Death." While we all know this, it seems our whole society is living with the goal of never doing anything that might induce or hassen death. Like if you avoid french fries like the plague you'll live forever. ;) Such thoughts amuse me.
