Mt step dad pointed this verse out to me concerning some fictional men that I love: 1 Corinthians 11: 14 - "Doth not even nature itself teach you that if a man have long hair it is a shame unto him?"
Then I read it and context and these verses stood out:
1 Corinthians 11: 13 - "Judge in yourselves; is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?" I was looking at the "judge in yourselves" part mostly - does that apply to verse 14 as well?"
1: Corinthians 11: 16 - "But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God." What does THAT mean?!
Those are from the KVJ. I'm suffering much confusion on this issue. Heck, I don't even know if this is in the right place - there didn't seem to be anywhere for it in the Christian Growth section. Sorry.
