Dreams about Anime O_o? Have you had any?

The real heart of CAA; discuss specific series, issues, and things related to anime here.

I've dreamt myself in just about every series I ever really liked. Funny thing is, I never realized quite how tall Vash is until I walked next to him and barely came up past his waist (though I'm short to begin with). Other series include Pokemon, Digimon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Gundam Wing, Shaman King, and Final Fantasy VIII (which is not an anime, I know.) I can't stand it when I wake up before I want to. It's like losing a friend without getting to say goodbye. ... That sounded terribly melodramatic. -_-

I think I'll win the prize for the oddest one after this. I didn't remember it until just now.

I was running down the highway and it was completely deserted. No cars, no people, no nothing. I suddenly see Usagi as Queen Serentiy, and the I here Ricky van Shelton singing.

That's all I remember of it. I have no idea why I dreamed that, but I did. It was uber weird. I think it might have had something to do with church, but I'm not sure. lol!

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

I had this REALLY weird anime dream last night so I had to revive this thread.

Okay, here's what happened, somehow Yuki Sohma of Fruits Basket and I were pair figure skaters. I don't even skate, but we were both REALLY good in my dream. So, we were gonna be in some huge competition (strangely, everybody was skating to Disney songs o_O.), but Shigure didn't approve. He was being really mean to Yuki and I felt really bad about it and I told him he should probably quit.
But, of course, he wouldn't-- cause he was in love with me.

I woke up and I was like "What on earth did I eat for dinner last night. . . 'CAUSE I NEED TO EAT THAT MORE OFTEN!!!!"
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Usually in my opinion no dreams = a good thing.

Once I dreamed that I woke up and all my favorite bishies were standing around my bed (in the dark) just looking at me. They never said anything just stared so it was pretty creapy. Then I woke up (for real) and I was still freaked out so I sat their in the dark listening for breathing and finally crept to the end of my bed so I could turn on my light and check for sure.

And then last night I had a very wierd dream where these banshees were going around grabbing people. But I could do all the magic attacks from Kingdom Hearts. I'm kind of worried I talked in my sleep because I yelled "Thunder!" and "Eat Freeze!" very loudly in dream.

I blame it all on this thread, which I read last night. :P

Ok, I hate to revive something this old, but I had a really wierd and sad dream about Kenshin.

Ok, Kaoru and Yahiko were brother and sister. Kenshin was something...I don't remember what. Sano wasn't in it, for some reason. They lived just down the road from me, and I visited them everyday. The four of us were so close it was almost like family. For some reason we went on this trip with the school, and all of my friends went on it, too. We went to this cave complex with some sort of facility set up inside there. The caves were HUGE. VERY VERY VVVEEERRRYYY HUGE! Each tunnel was about 250 x 250 feet high and wide. In the middle of the caves, they started to collapse in on us. Alot of us made it out, but in the confusion we lost track of the others. I found a friend of mine, and asked about everyone, and he didn't know anything except that his sister hadn't made it out alive. I found Kenshin, and Yahiko, too, I think, but Kaoru was dead...I think I may have cried in my sleep. I rarely EVER cry, but the feeling of sorrow in that dream was so strong that I don't know. The dream was incredibly realistic, too, and I felt the beating of my heart, everything. I had that tightness, that strange feeling you feel when you love someone deeply. It was a truly said dream, but I wish I could have more dreams like that where I was good friends with them. Unfortunately, I don't know what triggered it.

Wow, Destroyer. O_O That's really interesting and sad! But it would be cool having Kenshin, Kaoru and Yahiko as neighbors!

This topic looks like it's been going a while, but I'll add an odd dream nontheless. It was a Gundam Wing one, oddly enough, and I think all the boys were grown up, and the earth and colonies were at peace. But then some terrorist qroup was trying to ruin that, so in order to stop them from killing many, many inocent people, Heero died. Duo also had a hand-to-hand combat encounter with someone from the terrorist group, and Trowa died too (though I don't remember how).

Something that totally set it off, however, was at one point Quatre was stuck in some building, so Trowa used Heavyarms to pull him out... and my friend Cara (who loves Quatre) and I were there, but we were at least as tall as Heavyarms, and Trowa put Quatre in Cara's hand. :eyebrow:

If I do write that as a fic, the last part obviously won't be in it.

Gravedigging...argh. I don't want to start a new topic when there is one already, though...anyway, it's a legitimate addition, so...

Anyway, last night I had a dream about Fruits Basket. Yuki, Kyo, Tohru, and I were going on vacation somewhere. It was like some tropical place...anyway, Kyo got mad at Yuki and swam out and sulked on a very tiny island in the middle of this enormous lake. It was quite strange, to tell the truth.

Have I??? Oh man, there's too many to mention:

I remember Dorothy (from Big O) and I were hanging out and we decided to take Big O for a spin. We must have taken Big O without permission from Roger because I looked out the window (or whatever you're suppose to look out from) and Roger was running behind us yelling!

Man, I had this hilarious dream one time about the characters from Big O. It was like Big O meets Spongebob with a little dash of Ed, Edd, and Eddy. But I can't remember it; I just remember that it made me laugh. I actually woke up laughing

And then there was another one where I was in a raid or something, buring down stuff and riding on horses. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in a room with several other people including Milly, Vash, and Meryl. I don't know whether it was a meeting that was going on or not but everybody was playing some weird game of catch. Here's how it worked: someone throws you a beanbag ball and you make some kind of statement about yourself. Then you threw the ball randomly to someone else. After you throw the ball to someone else, you are given a collection plate to put an offering in. Very odd :eh: But the game was fun

I couldn't resist. I've had actually several dreams in anime over the past several months. That's where I've gotten all the story ideas for my manga so far. I have a dream and then build a plot on it, and then the next dream I have relates to it. It's weird. Maybe I'll post some of my story ideas in the writer's section someday.

I must say, the dream about playing an endless game of tetris sounds absolutely horrific. What a nightmare. ;)

Here’s a strange dream I had…

My Grandma seemed to think that one of her dogs (I don’t remember which) was related to Inuyasha and that Kenshin was my uncle.

Then I was in the Anime or in the dream or whatever. This may have been a separate dream altogether, but I’m not so sure.

Inuyasha was Kagome’s pet. I asked if her dogs were “fixedâ€

I was really expecting Kenshin for you... I, also, have never dreamed about my own creations, unless you count my "cloud city" dream, but the dream was the inspiration for the story in that case.

I think I have dreamed that the sailormoon cast were real life people (not animated, my brain made real people to be them...) and I once dreamed of Aeka from Tenchi...

In the Aeka dream, there was this map that showed the whole world in 3d that appeared when ingredients were mixed on a pool table. My friend (who I will be sorta living with in about a month) knew how to make it, but it was like the marauder's map in Harry Potter. It showed exactly what was going on (only this was the whole world and not just a small area) I ruined it accidentally by spilling something in it or by hitting the pool balls or something, and the map changed, showing more land and revealing a whole other continent.

In the dream, this had to do with the tribulation or something, and it sorta went to a video of what was on this continent. Under the ground (which was under water) there was this blob thing that wanted to kill people, and it was trapped underground. Some other stuff happened in the dream, but at the end, Aeka was standing on top of the chamber where the blob was. She couldn't see it, but it called out to her (yes, it was sentient and capable of speech) and said "The king wants you to let his blob out!" She went to the door of the chamber and began to open it, and the blob rushed the door. That's when I woke up.

Why? Because you could never catch the Mewtwo?

Funny that you mentioned that; once I had a dream where I found out how to get Mew. But to get Mew I had to find a special fossilized Starmie pokemon in a cave. The dream showed me that the Starmie would be partially in one of the cave walls and I would have to dig it out. Well, something like that :eyebrow: Anyway, when I woke up I turned on my gameboy and I actually tried what my dream showed me. Of course I was very disappointed when it didn't work :shady:

*dreamy sigh* Have I ever! ^_^ *blush* basically any character I've liked has been in my dreams.

My latest anime dream has got to be one of my favorite dreams. *takes a deep breath* I WAS YAMI BAKURA!!! Well, in a way I was, and in a way I wasn't. You see I was me...till my millennium ring activated...then I was him. I was still helping Malik out in his search for the Egyptian god cards. We were at some resort/amusement park place. There was a concert going on and I checked it out. I then felt my millennium ring tug toward the stairs. I saw that Malik was at the top. When I was walking I transformed into YB. Malik had me follow him into an alley. he told me that Shadi was looking for me ever since I stole the Millennium Scales. I scoffed saying that he could never catch me. I then reminded him of his promise to me with his millennium rod. He nodded and said I needed to get the egyptian god's first. He gave me a piece of paper. It had the room that his sis was staying in so i could take her necklace.

I walked off and transformed back into my original form. Just then Yugi and the gang turned the corner. We hung out at the amusement park then i left. I saw Seto at the food court typing away on his laptop whil Mokuba eating. Then I went to Ishizu's room *insert strange scene with the Ham-Ham's running into a ventilation shaft* I opened the door and she stared at me. When I closed the door I become YB again. We had a millennium battle. I took her necklace. I walked out to a glass hallway overlooking the whole area. Malik confronted me saying that Shadi was heading this way. I decided to go up to where my dad worked. *don't ask why but there's a hospital in this place*

I transformed to original me and went to find him. He came out of a room and said that he needed me to stay with a new pacient. I looked in and it was Ishizu. She looked pretty messed up. I told him I had an important errand to run. He told me to wait for ten minutes while he got security...since someone had stolen something from her. I had to stay while he left. She started talking to me and wouldn't shut up. I got annoyed at her constant questioning and transformed quickly and grabbed her neck...threatening her. Just then I heard my dad down the hall I let go and transformed back.

I left the hospital room and rushed down to our room. I ran past my sleeping my mom and went into my room. I quickly took the Millennium items off my shelf and opened a secret shadow area beneath the bed. Just then I heard a knock at the door. I hear my mom open the door. I hopped in and closed the hatch just as my mom opened my door and Shadi walked in the room, with my mom right beside him. When they left I crawled out and layed the items back in there respective places. Then i woke up. ^_^ As you can tell...it was an all night dream. Hope it wasn't too long for ya.

I hope this isn't considered gravedigging. It hasn't been that long since the last post.....
