Fullmetal Alchemist Licensed by Funimation
I was skimming over an anime magazine at the grocery store when I ran accross the article that talked about Fullmetal Alchemist. It said Funimation has licensed it!! I don't know what you all think about that, but I'm extatic!!! Did any of you already know this? I have never watched it, but I hear it's good. So, I can't wait 'till I can watch it!! Those of you who may be upset that Funimation licensed it, at least it wasn't licensed by 4Kids!! Thank golly goodness!! I hate 4Kids!!!

This news is rather old actually. Funimation announced it several months ago.
It is supposed to air on Adult Swim starting in, I believe, October.
There have been several threads on CAA in the past discussing it.

Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. I have and still own some fansubs, but I feel an obligation to either buy the legal copy or destroy the fansub once it is released. I know a lot of you don't have the financial resources required to do that, but I think respecting copywrites is important.
And please don't buy fansubs! No self respectinf fansub organization sells the subs! If you pay for them, you are only helping pirates!
