Panegryst! Now With More Raisins!

Postby panegryst » Thu Jul 15, 2004 11:09 am

I am panegryst. I like Japanese stuff and Christianity (sounds weird to 'like' a religion, eh? well I do). I am 16. I don't like people who talk alot or American TV. I am learning Japanese (on my own) and am leaving for Japan in a mere 25 hours. I will go to college, major in Japanese (and minor in a martial art ), and when I get out, I will join the US Marines. I don't have a girlfriend or even any 'real' friends. (No, I am not lonely. :P) I have a cat, though. I can't walk places with my sisters or mother without a little paranoia, but that's the way I like things.

When someone asks me, 'What is the meaning of life?' I say, "self-sacrifice". Most people say stuff like "friends" or even worse, "romantic love", or worst of all, "beer". I don't really like other people on the whole.

If I had to have one thing tatooed on my forehead for everyone to see always, it would be one of these attached pictures.

Oooo, can you make monthly payments on those? :p

As Swordguy said, you probably won't like me because I tend to post a lot (when I have the time). And I am extremely silly, a dangerous combination.

Anyway, have a good time in the land of the Rising Sun (see? I know a little about Japan  ) God be with you.

posting is different. when you have to write/type something out, you tend to put more thought into it. did you notice how much I post? if i didn't like big posters I'd be a hypocrite, pretty bad, huh

I agree. Though I may post a fair amount, in real life I speak only rarely (when I have information to pass along or something important to say).

Make sure you get one made by a good alien dealer and not some trash made in third world sweat shops. I bought a cheap one last week and I swear, the Giga-blaster would only work one third of the time.

That is funny.

Panegryst, you seem like a really cool person, and religion is fun, as long as it's the right one. :)

my parents are a little weirded out by the fact that I don't talk much... I guess I used to talk much more until a few years ago.

On the whole, not talking is freaking sweet. When your friends get used to you, it puts much less pressure on you to keep a conversation going, tell jokes, or whatever. When you are comfortable with silence, it gives you the freedom to just enjoy someone's company without worrying about what to say.
