I was wondering when they'd finally show Ghost In The Shell. They've had the rights to it for a while now.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

ya know, the site probably won't have anything (well, maybe on the forums). usually, they don't put anything up unless the show has started, um, showing

Hrm...is the Ghost in the Shell series anywhere near as violent as the movie? If so, I'll have to tape everthing but that or my mom'll kill me...
Think happy thoughts.

Ghost in the Shell is gonna be on AS!? I'm there...

And no it won't be as violent it will go through some editing too anyway just like every other show.

Um... My friend sent me a clip from SAC... It sorta resembles the opening scene in the Movie (the assassination) only she's rescuing someone instead of just assassinating the guy... SAC still has the exploding bullets (tphttth... splat!) So, yeah... I'm almost certain those scenes will be cut out on Adult Swim... The brain crushing scene was cut out of "Second Rennaisance" when they showed the Animatrix, so I think the ubergory scenes are definately out... Though, with what they've been showing on the American half of Adult Swim, they'd really be hypocrites (well, allready ARE hypocrites...)

Read or Die... I have only seen the first ep, but there seemed to be a "vibe" between the paper girl and the girl who can fall through floors and walk through walls. Are my suspicions correct, anyone who's seen it?

As for FMA, my friend has been begging me to check it out, so if it comes on before september, I'll watch it.

The TV series for ROD is very different from that series Bob... I don't even think that those charachters are in it.

As for GITS: SAC... I'm probabaly going to collect the DVDs and watch it on CN.. I'm a bit of a Cyberpunk fan.

Please, before we start this up all over again, there was NO "vibe":eyeroll: as you call it between the paper and Ms. Deep - it was most definitely a sisterly relationship, as proven at the very end of the show. You need to go read through the review Archan did on this a looooong time ago in the review section. Please, I don't want to get into the same discussion again on this, Bob. :shady:

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
