Konnichiwa minna-san! Thank you for taking your time to read about me, a new member of CAA. Please feel free to ask me any questions or comment on the following tidbits. Enjoy! ^_^

An Ambition: To create a Christian-themed manga. I look forward to c+c's of my ideas and sketches.

A Few Favorite Hymns: Be Thou My Vision, Great is Thy Faithfulness, Come Thou Fount
A Few Favorite Worship Songs: Not To Us, Blessed Be The Name
First Anime: Dragonball
Animes/Manga I Enjoy: Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Hunter x Hunter (for character development)
Games: Although the time I spent playing RPGs should have been spent more wisely, I loved the computer graphics, character designs, character developments and soundtracks of FFVII-X.
Music: These days I mostly listen to Anime soundtracks and the good classical music (i.e. Enigma Variations, The Planets, Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto). A few songs by the string quartet Turtle Island are really good!
Books: Other than the Bible (of course), I do love reading comics (^_^), manga, and anything else I could get my hands on. I used to read a lot of fantasy-fiction (Riftwar Saga by Robert E. Feist, Redwall Series by Brian Jacques, etc.) I enjoy graphic novels like "Maus I & II" by Art Spiegelman. I've read Christian books on various topics from apologetics to teenage issues, from A.W. Tozer to Janette Oke. =) Eclectic? Yea, I think.
*I love playing the piano.
*I have a fetish for stationery and bookstores.
*I love writing and receiving letters/messages of any form.
*I shy away from any jewelry or make-up (nothing against it). It's just my personality/preference for some reason. =P
*I tried AFROTC for one semester.
*My basic testimony consists of God's faithfulness and my mustard-seed faith, from baptism to Biola.
*In high school I was involved with the newspaper, yearbook, tennis team, and orchestra.
* I love visiting Little Tokyo.
* Pocky rocks!
Why I Joined CAA: I loved anime (and a lil' bit of furry) before I was born again. Five years ago I struggled with growing in my faith and enjoying anime/furry. My interest fluctuated and my faith (with its own ups and downs) steadily matured. Now, I want to use my drawing talent and use it to glorify His name through manga, and I am SO glad to have found such a forum where such topics are discussed by other brothers and sisters. ^_^
AIM SN: Hane no Hikari (literally, feather of light) refers to an analogy told by a visiting pastor. Basically, there is a person (God) on a balcony with many people below (us). He lets a feather float toward a particular person. The feather represents the opportunities He gives us to do His will. But as the feather falls, the person blows it away to another, and others do the same until one person accepts it and lets it land on him/her. So, my SN (like a feather from God) reminds me to recognize and take advantages of the opportunities the Lord decides to give me and instead of just giving them up to others with the mentality of "Oh, I'll do it next time. Let so-and-so do it now."

Wow, you've made it! Arigato gozaimas!
