Nah it's a tail but it does look...cloud-like and fluffy.

Why doesn't Inuyasha have a tail? *wonders* And why does Sesshoumaru look so much like Legolas to me?

Probably because he's half dog. He can't have ears AND a tail! That'd be CRAZY! Legolas?! Probably the hair and the fact that they're both pretty! And the pointy ears. Come to think of it they do have a lot in common...
