Suncoast!! NEWS!!!

Postby Xavier249 » Mon Jun 21, 2004 10:56 pm

okay first of all I am not in anyway advertising or affiliated with Suncoast.
okay now that that is out of the way:

I was at the Suncoast in Mall of America a week ago and got some interesting news from the people who work there and one who works at another suncoast.

Used DVD sections will be in every Suncoast in America by the end of July.

The Mall of America location was one of 3 beta tests and they were so successful that it is going to spread!!!!!

I got Metropolis in almost mint condition for 11.99!!!!!! I honestly could not see any wear and tear on either the DVDs or its case. Plus the movie rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it shows that I am a true anime fan when I go to the mall of America and spend 1 hour in the Suncoast store. . . mostly chatting with the workers about anime......

I concur.
I try and work the sales and replay bonuses really hard. The best thing for me to do though would be to not have to get the Limited Edition volumes, they cost even more.

Also, there will only be as much cheap anime there as people put in. Here's hoping you have a lot of whim filled people in you area. :)

THAT'S TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I've only been there once to use a 30% off gift certificate I got in Newtype USA once. Their anime selection is pretty killer, but because of the large selection, it's also largely expensive. (not good) I tend to go to Bestbuy usually for anime. But now that they have used anime for cheap, I'm gonna flock to Suncoast.

I just buy online at BestPrices.com...I found the Kyoto Arc of Kenshin there for 106.00 something....when it's usually 150.00.

That's great, now I just have to drive two hours in my gas hogging Camaro to get it, because that's how far the closest Suncoast is to me. I'd like it if they'd do that in Sam Goody too, because I live really close to one of those.

Greetings from Chicago!

Bummer to Kireihana that there isn't one near you.

Xeno at least you can get to one, right? Although you should ask the people point blank at Samgoody if they are going to do that, that would be cool if they did. I'll look into that.

Destroyer2000 yeah I know what you mean, I got the entire kenshin series on VHs for 2$ a Vhs..... :) Except I still don't have the OVAs or movie.

Lehn. YAY! *cheers along with!*

ZIPO_MASTER*, yes I agree they are expensive, but if you play your cards right they can be decent enough. :) Used on the other hand is going to make suncoast a Godsend come college this fall....

thats great I go to suncoast all the time. (wether pocky or anime its so tempting i have to buy somthing) the people at the store actually know me, or should by now due to all the money i spend there. Maybe this way I can keep some pocket change.
