otakon, who will be there?

I know a couple other people posted messages about otakon, but from what i saw that was a while ago. I was wondering who all was going, i will be there, and i didn't know if anyone else would want to meet?

I'm going to Otakon! I'm so excited! I knkow some other CAA members are going to be there, and I was hoping maybe we could all meet up for awhile. ^_^ I'm going to put my CAA name on my pass, at least, so maybe someone will see it and say hi.

Oh, Kinkosami, Otakon is in Baltimore, Maryland.

I'll be there! Meeting up sounds like a great idea. Maybe we could gather outside at a specific time one evening and all go out for a Members-Only CAA Dinner or something.

it will be pretty hard to meet unless we set up a place and time to meet in the convention. example: inside the main entrance next to the booth where you get passes, at like 1:00 on saturday) or something. Also if anyone else is going to be going in costume it would be easier to find each other if we knew what to look for.
if anyone else has any ideas, i am open to any suggestions.

Sounds good. One of us could make a CAA sign on a piece of posterboard or something. I myself, though I will not be in cosplay, can plan on wearing my black and red t-shirt with the Autobots symbol on it. Oh, and for crap's sake, someone bring a camera!

Heh, I've never been to an anime-convention-thingy.

I probably wouldn't want to go, because my parents would think something's wrong with me...not that they don't already...I don't know, they consider dressing up in costumes weird. Maybe when I'm 18...or 30 XD

I will be bringing like 3 cameras, This is actually my first time to otakon though I have been to other cons. before. I think otakon is suppose to be the one of the biggest anime cons. I so excited I am counting down the days.
i think making a sign is a great idea. but we still need a time so someone isn't standing there all day. I know i'll have a 3 day pass so really any day will work. Sat. is probably the best though because people drive in friday and predicting a time may be off, and I think otakon closes like at noon sunday. but what time works best for you? (SpoonyBard if you where that shirt I will look for you)

I've got a 3-day pass, too. I'll be there with 3 friends (not CAA members) so as long as I run it by them and let them know where I'll be, pretty much any time is fine. I'll also be bringing my Polaroid and hoping it still works.

i will be cosplaying as sango, and I am trying to make her giant weapon. so unless there are a lot of sangos you will sorta know what to look for.

I've got a three day pass, too, so whenever ya'll wanna meet up is fine with me. ^_^ I'm going with at least two other people who aren't on CAA, and they have little tolerance for feeling left out, so I might not be able to hang for long, unless me and TwilightKiss beg and plead pretty hard. ^_^

Yeah, to answer your question Spoony, TwilightKissC3 and EvilSporkofDoom are both coming with me. Unless EvilSpork's boyfriend comes along, (which I really really hope not...I don't like him at all) the three of us should be wandering around with our other friends. ^_^

I think making a poster was a good idea, we could get something to set it up with it, and set it up near the entrance or booth where you get passes. On it we could say something like caa members meet here at 1:00 Saturday. That way we could set it up Friday, and in case some of us forgot the time we would still know where to meet. I can make the poster if no one else wants to.
