Does anyone know where I can download or buy the first season of yugioh? To be honest, I don't like to search the internet because of all that bad stuff. It's too much for my young mind :sweat:

. But anyways, I would really appreciate it if anyone knew.
Btw, I'm new to this anime stuff, so um, please don't hurt me.

Wow, thank you! How do you use Kazaa, if it's not too much trouble? Also, my dad says that it puts too much stuff on the computer and it's not safe or something like that. :rolls_eye Is that true? If it's not then I want to download some.

Okay, first of all it's true that Kazaa puts some nasty stuff on your computer. However, there is a version of Kazaa which has all this removed, and it's called Kazaa Lite. It can be downloaded from

I bet you can buy yugioh anyway, so I'd suggest checking out some place like http://www.animeniacs.com or another site that sells anime.

Interestingly having just come back from a convention I discovered that if you download unlicensed fansubs(ie anime that is not released in your country yet), it is in fact legal, so long as you get rid of the fansub once the official licensed release comes out where you are.

Well, I won't post against downloading Yu-gi-oh considering what 4Kids did to the English version and the fact that there is no subtitled version in the US, but the manga is available in stores right now and it has the stuff from the first season that the US anime is missing. BTW, wasn't there already another topic about this?

Agreed, these topics are growing tiresome. Especially with CN showing stuff like Big O 2, Haibane Renmei (sp?) coming out soon, and other more interesting topics coming up.

Well you can buy the American first season(technically the 2nd season ^^) that 4kids did just about anywhere, but if you're looking for the actual first season or the non-butchered versions of the other seasons you could try ebay or somewhere like that.

I think we need to stop promoting fansubs here.

Downloading fansubs of licensed series is theft, and one of the Ten Commandments is "You shall not steal."

Even the secular board otakuboards.com prohibits the posting of links to or means of acquiring fansubs or other illegal downloads. I think we should do the same.

Don't you just hate it when they skip the entire first season of a show? *sigh*

Yu-Gi-Oh is a pretty decent show. I would like to see the first season as well.
