Legit site?

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I'm wondering about DeepDiscountDVD . They have a lot of cheap anime. It looks real, but I don't want to waste my money on bootlegs. If anyone knows, I'd be happy if you could tell me. Thanks.

i've gotten stuff from there before, it's legit. as far as i know, there are no bootlegs on that site:)

Try Best Prices.com. They are atleast 10 bucks less on everything they sell, sometimes even more. They're totally legit, but I don't know about DiscountDVD...I remember going to it, or a site like it, and they were not completely legit.

A good site I've been to is discountanimedvd.com. They have imported anime and lots of anime goodness. You should check it out.

*Checking it out* Looks cool. A lot of the import DVD's look like bootlegs though. I could be wrong.

Just so that you will know if you would be working with a good company or not...I have used BestPrices.com for about 4 months now. While sometimes a backorder takes a little time to get shipped, I have been well please with their service. I've ordered about 25 DVDs from them and they come well packed. You do not have to have a credit card to order as you can mail in a check or money order for your purchase, another plus for our younger folks. And there is the fact that all their DVDs are region 1, they do not sell bootlegs so you will not have to worry about that when ordering.

It looks awesome...although I'd buy more than one DVD at a time because the discount would probably be nullified by the shipping, especially since I'm in Canada...but it's all worth it for good healthcare (not really)

All I know about it is that is advertises Magnum PI seasons on DVD...the official site denies the DVDs existence...draw your own conclusions...

Thanks for the warning, Godly Paladin. I think I'll go with BestPrices.com thanks to Rev. Doc's referal. Speaking of backorders, how long will they generally take? I was looking at the Outlaw Star Collection priced at $35 but it's on backorder.

I bet that's just a mistake. I don't thnk they are trying to fool anyone. Some of the descriptions on the site are incorrect, but I've ordered from deepdiscountdvd many times and have NEVER gotten a bootleg anime DVD. I still can't find a better deal on the net for anime that's legit. Plus they have free shipping - truly free too, not like the other sites which say that but have adjusted the price up to compensate.

I highly recommend this site. That said, I recently went back to renting using NetFlix since they have almost everything in stock.

yeah... honestly i've never had a problem with the site, the anime wasn't a bootleg, shipping was free, it was cheap.

Try http://www.sphiatt.com Some of their imports are legit (like Gundam 0083) but most aren't. Free shipping too!
