From the...part of one episode I saw of Big O, I'm pretty sure the voice of...Roger, right...was the same as Spike from Cowboy Bebop. And then...I think I was told that the voice actor of Inuyasha (Richard Cox...or something) also did another character for some anime on Toonami or something... So I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Wolf's Rain voice actors were the same for WHR.
Yeah, Roger Smith and Spike are both played by David Lucas.
Vash and Kiba are voiced by the same person (as Spirit Wolf said), he is Steve Kramer I believe.
Kagome/Laura is, I believe, Moneca Stori (sp?)
Kouga/Duo Maxwell is Scott McNeil, who also plays Wolverine in X-men Evolution.
I noticed something interesting about voice actors though. Some actors I have noticed seem to stick with one company. I've noticed this since I got the Anime Network (which is owned by ADV, which explains the abundance of ADV programming available) On Demand through Comcast. ADV uses the same basic pool of actors for a huge number of animes (and the same studio, Industrial Smoke and Mirrors). I guess that's understandable, because the actors available are really limited to those who live close to the ISM recording studio. I wonder if the same is true for the other companies who do english dubs for anime (Animaze, FUNimation, etc.) and just generally for all recording studios that do voice-over work?
Anyway, back on topic now...
Wolf's rain looks really good, although I guess I missed eps 1 and 4. And as somebody said already, the ending theme "Gravity" is just awesome (Go Yoko Kanno!). Thanks for clearing up that the "spell" only changes appearances, not actual forms. That was pretty confusing. Looking forward to the rest of it, but 22 more weeks just to finish it means I know I'm gonna miss more eps down the line.
