Hello. Thought I'd actually post something... My pen name is Rose ^_^ and I'm 23, living in Ohio, USA. I am a strong believer in God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Beautiful Holy Spirit!! AMEN! *is excited now*...

I have been online since 1997 but I got my own PC in the fall of 1999. Since I grew up with few friends and stayed home a lot, the Internet was my key to unlocking freedom. I learned a lot, had online bf's and stumbled onto what now is one of my beloved hobbies: Website Design. I'm not the best at it but I love to create... Yes I'm creative in other ways but the thing about websites is that other people can finally see my creations - my words - my thoughts.

I love to write, the written word, the spoken word... God made all words and spoke the first word. I try to express myself with this knowledge, giving honor to Him so that like Him, my words may create worlds. For those who don't know my real name means "Who is like the Lord?" with the question mark. After some research I found that this could mean a witnessing prospect proving no one is like the Lord - but that the Lord is soo marvelous and awesome we cannot measure Him, that He is LOVE. I am to show the world these two things, and also Rose stands for that same Love . ^^

I believe I found my calling using these 2 things. I have been lead to doing an online Christian community, 3XR. We are in the middle of moving into a new website domain with lots of cool things and a whole area reserved for teaching and giving understanding to members about their callings...Also ^_^ helping them get to the place that God is leading them to. I want to invite you all to check it out..but since right now the site is out of whack, I don't want to send ya there...YET that's the only thing up right now. so visit: 3XR

Misc blah about me:
*I have an online diary! plz visit sometime: Rose's Thought Chamber
*African American
*wears glasses
*Needs a new car
*Anime lover - faves include Kenshin, Sailormoon, and Peach Girl (manga)
*Amateur Writer
*HR Generalist, but wants to go back to school for Theology or Youth Ministry
*Spends 50% of free time online
*Rolemodel - Mac Powell (great songwriter)
*I like watching movies and listening to music. (DANCING!!) and
*I love playing video games ^_^ RPG or fighting plz. I have a PS1 unfortunately haven't gotten around to buying anything newer so I don't play much at the moment...but soon I say, soon.

How's that for a bio!

Hi Rose!

When God created us in His own image, I think one of the major attributes He gifted us with was (is) the desire and ability to imagine and create. I love to create as well--stories, characters, video games, etc., though I haven't felt that creative power as much in recent years (possibly due to decreased sugar intake). But seriously, I think creativity and a good imagination are not only God-given talents, they bring us closer to God as He is the ultimate Creator.

I'll definitely go check out your website once it's up and going.

Eh, by create I don't mean I'm actually a video game designer or anything. Back in HS and college I'd plan out my own ideas for video games with characters, stages, enemies, bosses, weapons, a basic plot and the like. They were usually based on my own characters. I did several "action" type games with the basic 8-9 stage format and a couple RPG's in college. It was just for fun--no one beyond my friends and I ever saw the designs.

*slaps forehead* ummmm HR is Human Resources, Generalist means I have no specialty, I do it all. And I just am upset that no one seems to know what HR is so I'm not going to tell ya - if that's what you are asking. Sorry for being mean...just tired of everyone asking such an obvious question.

SW - you should go into that. Esp. if you have a passion for it. An ex-bf of mine did the same thing but he never finished it. I've made up rpg's for roleplaying but it is transferrable to video game usage I believe.

Rositude, it might be better if you did not abbreviate HR, if thou havest such probs with people not knowing...:P

SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

it's not the abbreviation, dearest Inkhana, it's knowing what Human Resources does! What's Human Resources...what do you do, then? That's what I get all the time, abbr. or no abbr. So when I say, I'm not going to say what HR is, I meant I'm not about to break down what Human Resources is...

No, I know what HR is, I just wasn't sure what you meant by generalist. Sorry if it got on your nerves a bit.

It's nice to know more. Now I'm just resisting the temptation to ask about HR.
