Hey guys! I'm new :)

Hey fellow christian anime-lovers!
I'm new to this site, I am so glad I found this website (Finally a site about two things that I can totally relate to!)
So I should probably introduce myself! My (nick)name is Effie :)
I am Ethiopian (born in a town called Gonder) and I have lived in various places in the US but I now reside in Colorado.
I am (obviously) a christian. I am an artist (very amateur..haha): I love knitting and sewing/making clothing hence the word fashion in my username, I like how fashion is a tool of expression. Maryie (the other part of my username) is my home name aka what my family calls me at home. I love learning new languages especially Asian languages and I LOVE learning about new cultures.
I hope I can make friends here :)

Language learning, huh? Have you studied Japanese? I'm always excited to meet another student of the Japanese language, so that's why I ask. I know what you mean about languages. If I had time, that's all I'd do. Polyglots ftw!

I read a lot of my manga online on mangafox but now a days I'm always on the move so I read off of this app called "Manga searcher" on my phone.
I search and download manga I want to read :) it's worked out well for me. But I barely have any time to read manga..because it's Finals weeeekkk! And my head is about to burst open because of all the studying I am doing :dizzy:
I'll be fine hopefully!... Fighting! haha :D
