Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

Hey twilight, I noticed that in your sig you have a button that says something along the lines of "Member of CAA bishie fan club." I didn't know we had a fan club. I knew we have a bishie thread, but a fan club?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Haven't read any Saiyuki, but I have seen the promo ep and some other odd ones. I have a friend who is obsessed with the series, so I'll see it eventually.

Inuyasha on the other hand I know to be awesome!
Now if they would just speed up the release in the US to about 3 new eps a week, we'd catch up to Japan in about a year. I hear they are on EP 150+.

Oh Cool news, I found some odd shonen Sundays about a year ago, and the description of what is happening in Ep 146 and 149 match the inuyasha manga I have(within the shonen sunday). Now, I am going to try and translate them harder than ever.

InuYasha I am even on, though I haven't seen much of it. The same manga-ka did Ranma 1/2, so I am a bit biased from the start. That is not to say, however, that it isn't decent.

Saiyuki, on the other hand, I would place myself as a fan of. While the action is truly terrible (it looks like someone had an extremely low budget) I was extremely impressed with the writing involved. Such banter is the reason I enjoy every episode.

Steals Kagome from Inuyasha?
Special Ep(its not plural on purpose) 147-148 contains a history of Kikyou and Inuyasha. Kikyou was cursed: if she ever fell in love she would die. She fell in love with Inuyasha, and then Naraku, recently reborn through onigumo, tricked the two into thinking the other was using the other. Then you get the classic scenes of Kikyou pinning Inuyasha to the tree. Inuyasha remained pinned to that tree for most of Kaede's life. So, I would argue that Kikyou was there first and therefore the only person stealing Inuyasha is Kagome, which is odd since Kagome and Kikyou supposedly have the same soul. If you still don't like her thats fine by me, she's not my fav either. . . Sango. . .
Side comment: That Dragon sure it cute!
They are not exactly the same thing. Their souls are. You know how the eastern religions believe in reincarnation. This an example of it except for some reason the time continium is not messing up despite the same soul being in the same time period in two people.

I also think they are very different because of how they were raised.
Yes I agree it is very creepy.

I don't know squat about Inuyasha, but I know the second line is Hakkai's to Gojyo when Gojyo was commenting while checking out the "gypsy" girls (who turned out not to be gypsies.) I love Saiyuki banter too. ^__^

Have you watched Saiyuki Reload, uc? (or anyone?)

I got some of it off the internet, but it's done now and they're working through Saiyuki Reload Gunlock (which I haven't been keeping up with.) The first several episodes are just filler, but once you meet Ginkaku and Kinkaku, it gets into something better resembling a real story.
