Meep, looks like your links don't want to work. D: (could be that DA still doesn't like people hotlinking from their site. :< ), but I tracked down your DA profile from the url and hopefully found you gallery. EDIT: Once I found your DA, now the links are working from here, so idk what that was about before.

Great stuff, especially since most of your work is done in pen. By far, One Night in the Streets impressed me the most. Whether fully intentional or not, your treatment of the street and shadows bouncing off it is gorgeous. Actually, you're quite good at pen effects and crosshatching (you probably already knew this, though), and it's only something I can dream of doing. O:
Do you mostly work in pen (outside of the stuff you posted on DA)? Have you experimented with other media? And is MS Paint the only tool you have for digital editing or do you just use it because you're making small edits? *read the artist comments on DA*

Thanks for letting me know about the links, goldenspines. For anyone else that reads this, my dA site is http://m12specops.deviantart.com.

I do mostly pen work and I don't have any other digital editing software outside of MS Paint and Gimp lol. I heard that Photoshop CS2 or something is now out, but have been too lazy to get around to downloading that.

I have experimented extensively with digital art via Photoshop and pen and tablet, but there are too many features available so I get overwhelmed really quickly. Also, the disconnect between reality and computer makes it a little harder for me to get exactly what I want onto the screen. Digital art is really legit though, if you can learn how to use the technology well. At some point I will probably need to convert over to digital in order to be able to better produce manga.

Thanks for the encouragement, Ally-Ann!
Here's some more stuff, yall! Been really productive recently :)

http://m12specops.deviantart.com/art/Earth-To-Eternity-380762183

Surprisingly (or maybe not so surprisingly) enough, I have noticed that when I draw Christ-related things, I get a lot more feedback (like more than 0 favorites) than when I post more worldly stuff. I think this may be the direction the Lord wants me to take, to draw things that glorify Him (obviously, right? Haha :) )

Agh, sorry I didn't see this earlier.
First, wow. Like Ally-Ann said, I really like your style. It's very unique and the lighting is awesome.
Overall, I liked the ones in your first post better, but I really like "Prayer". And "Earth to Eternity"...Wow, just wow. Not only is the art really good, but the idea conveyed...not much art I've seen is so good at getting a point across and putting emotion into it. That picture is super awesome. :thumb:

This is really cool, and it's so cool and encouraging to see you using your skills to glorify God. That is so huge, and it's such a blessing. Keep up the good work, and may God continue to bless your efforts.

They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1

Thanks, ClaecElric4God! I am very encouraged and will do my best :) I am also thinking about starting a manga series, but some dots are not connecting.. So if anyone who sees this could pray for me to hear the voice of the Lord regarding this, I would really appreciate it :) Will post more when the time comes.. But it may not be for a while since I am entering a new season of busy-ness with school. But who knows? Maybe the Lord will enable me to do stuff! I still have a lot of ideas to put down on paper. Thanks for the support, yall! May the Lord bless and keep this community and cause His face to shine upon you all!!

I'll keep you in my prayers. I like your vision, and that you're looking to God to give you the opportunity to do it, instead of running into it headlong. He'll bless you for that.
That said, I can't wait to see more, so hopefully God will give you time and liberty to draw lots more epic stuff.

Wow, m12! Amazing as ever. I especially love The Bride of Christ. I love all of them, though. Your style is so cool, and the meaning behind the pieces is as beautiful as the pictures themselves.
