Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

Easy to see why it isn't regarded quite as highly as Uncharted 2 but still awesome stuff. The sinking ship parts reached irresponsible levels of awesome. :cool:

I've finally gotten around to Batman: Arkham City and it's pretty awesome so far.

Nate beat me to it but I am also playing the demo of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Its looks AMAZING. Sadly I read the plot online. But im getting this game still. Its looking pretty epic. (Heres hoping I can punch Joshua from The World Ends with You in the face in game.)

I just finished Spec Ops The Line. This was a true journey into the heart if darkness. A good game if not a bit generic.

Recently found an amazing First-Person Shooter for the Nintendo Wii - "The Conduit". The entire plot is completely original (as far as I'm aware) and the gameplay mechanics are outstanding.

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it, people - I gurantee it's a blast.

Ao Oni.

Another RPG Maker game... Or, rather, family of games. There are like a bazillion versions of it, each slightly different with different endings and different people who die or ways they die. Um... There's no real plot to it. I feel like this is to Ib what Resident Evil is to the good Silent Hill games (mostly 2 and 3) Ib has a plot, it isn't really scary but it has loads of atmosphere, and you actually care about the characters. I don't care about any of the characters in Ao Oni. I just don't want to get caught by the Oni. I'm almost to the end, but a couple of the puzzles stumped me... Mostly because there were things I didn't know you could do (push an object out of the room, stand on chairs, things like that) so I've been watching a playthrough of my version, and I saw the ending. It sort of sucked. It has a lot of fans, though.

Apparently the first really popular RPG Maker game, corpse party (for the original non-console RPG maker) was given a standalone, commercial port on PC and later ported to the PSP. So everyone who derides RPG maker really just haven't seen what's possible with it.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean on PS3 with my dad and brother. Love all the puzzles they put in as you play out the movies. We have finished out the main game and going back to replay through the levels for all the versions of the characters.

At any rate, I beat Nox for the first time in my life, even though I first got my hands on it about ten years ago. Wonderful game, even if the story is laughably cliche and the gameplay is derivative of Diablo (from what I've heard; I've never actually played Diablo).

Now I'm focusing more on Max Payne, and am reminded of how horrible my aim is :forehead:

I like using the double Barrettas, because I can shoot faster, so my flailing is more effective

Fun game, but Max himself is uuuuuugly.

I never saw the translated one, but I have seen untranslated ones (labeled "jikyou") I wish they had translated the whole thing. It's weird seeing them play through that because the layout of the house and the nature of some of the puzzled changed completely from the one I played.

Just finished Mafia 2. One of my all time favorite game awesome storyline. And now I just started Dante's Inferno another awesome game definitely dark, but good.

I have been playing Ys:The Oath in Felghana since the first Friday of this month....THIS GAME IS FUN.

...so much fun.

Also, playing Alice: Madness Returns. This is a beautiful game but I can't help feeling bad for it. The gameplay is functional but kinda mediocre and very forgettable. If they made the gameplay a little more interesting then this would probably end up on my favourite games list since I just love the environments, atmosphere and characters.

Also, I picked up Binding of Issac, though I haven't played it yet... been messing around with Amnesia a bit too.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy (3DS)

It's a remake of the PS1's Ace Combat 2, and a fantastic all-around game. It's a real shame that it didn't include a form of multiplayer, but there's still a fair amount of re-playability with the extra missions and such. Controls are perfect for a portal air combat title.

^ Yeah, never could get the hamg of those flight simulator games. Sad, really - they look like fun.

As for what I'm playing right now - Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is proving to be the hardest game I've ever played [that I haven't gotten rid of yet XP].

It's pretty good.

Even if the final twist comes a bit out of someone's butt unless you have been paying REAL close attention.

Oh. Em. Gee. Multiplayer is like, the perfect blend of Call of Duty and Battlefield. Weapon variety has much to be desired, but I don't care- the game-play is great.

Games I've played in the past month or so:

Romancing SaGa 2 (Super Famicom): Awesome RPG. You play as an entire line of emperors, from generation to generation, and the skills learned in each generation are passed down to the next. It has a unique combat system and is quite challenging; the final boss is definitely one of the most difficult bosses I've ever fought in an RPG, perhaps the most difficult. It's a shame this game has never been translated into English.

Romancing SaGa (also SF): Started it but haven't gotten terribly far in it. It's tedious in that way that early RPGs often are. Grinding is mandatory. The battle system has the seeds of what would later mature into the (quite good) combat systems of RS2 and RS3, but there are some problems with it in this game that are just obnoxious.

F-Zero (Super Nintendo): Who needs real 3D when Mode 7 simulates 3D this effectively? Dusted off the cartridge that I picked up however many years ago and found it to be just as much fun as it was when I was a kid. The only thing that could make it better is a multiplayer mode.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron multiplayer beta. I don't think it's as fluid as WFC's, but it's definitely still a great game. The customization options (apart from colours) are very nice as well.
