Never an excuse to personally attack a fellow member who was simply inviting you to consider seeing something from a different perspective. I don't see how that could have given you the idea that her views on society are decayed, which is a rather serious accusation.

“Boys Be…”
Ugh...in its attempt to be creative with its story telling, "Boys Be..." has plunged us into the world of bad high-school drama, complete with agnostic characters, bad music queues, and acting that leaves you wanting for better. While it can be argued that because “Boys Be…” is only thirteen episodes long and that there wasn’t enough time to fine tune certain aspects, and that the second season would’ve brought about a much better series; the fact remains that the material given to the viewer is extremely lacking in certain areas. Crying shame it’s the areas that REALLY count.

While I do appreciate the historical significance it plays in the world of anime, and while there are a few scenes and moments that are good, overall, I am not impressed with the way “ToHeart” was presented. With a boring, episodic story, characters that make you wonder why they exist in the first place, lackluster and annoying music, and acting that’s either hit or miss, “ToHeart” makes me question the intentions of the creators; did they honestly try to make a good series, but just committed several missteps, or were they just looking for a way to milk more money from the game series by creating a show to go along with it? We will never know.

You can hate a really good anime. You can like a really terrible anime. This thread is for anime that are awful and have no good qualities about them.
Eiken has been mentioned. There is literally nothing good about Eiken. It has no good things about it. With Chobits, even if you hate the plot and characters, the art is at least pleasant to look at, and the music is pretty catchy. Eiken does not even have that.
I mean if we're just going off "anime we hate" then I'm going to throw Cowboy Bebop into the ring because I thought it was one of the most boring things I've ever watched...and I watched and loved The Seven Samurai. But it'd be pretty ridiculous to nominate Cowboy Bebop as worst anime ever just because I don't like it, now wouldn't it?

Elf Princess Rane was pretty funny. Doesn't really hold up well as a story or even a good character piece. I mean, it is only 2 episodes long.

Sheesh, why do you people watch so many bad anime? XD; Usually if a show looks like it will be terrible, I drop it right away. Our time can be better spent elsewhere! \o.o/
Concerning FLCL, it's a mixed bag for every person, I think. I can understand why some people hate it and I think they have a legitimate reason to hate it, the content being one reason. But, at the same time, I also see why some people love it; mainly, it's a cleverly told coming of age story. I'm neutral about it since I feel like I wasn't the target audience to get the most out of the story; yet I was still able to appreciate it.
I don't think the animation was some of the best ever made (sorry Hat), but for the time, it was very outstanding. Like Doc mentioned, it beats almost all the anime series released in the year 2000 in art and animation, especially in some of the action scenes (of hitting things with a guitar for example). And yes, the music is also very lovely.
On the subject of bad anime, even I made an exception to waste my time on the series because the episodes were only 3 minutes long. Recorder to Randoseru is not as terrible as much as it's just "why did someone even make this". I'm on the fence about it, truly. It's just so awkward and terrible. The only thing that keeps me watching is the adorable ED.

Minge Nagger Overrun! is one of the objectively worst anime I have ever beheld in my life.
This show is so badly done, and most of all so incredibly drab and boring, it reduces me to little but bitter and resigned emotional silence. I can’t get mad at it, it’s too dull to elicit such responses. The tsundere and her constant aggression are annoying beyond belief. The pacing is uneven and completely random -- little escapades put together in an incoherent, loud mess. I honestly wonder who the hell greenlighted this.
As someone who has associated with cats for most of my life so far, I find the connotation between this show and cats to be insulting to cats. In fact I find it insulting to even try to find an analogy between all the good times you can have with your cats and this show. This show is less enjoyable than being scratched by an irate kitten. It’s less enjoyable than being savaged by an adult tom. It’s less enjoyable than having to clean out after your cat. It’s less enjoyable than finding out, at the same time, that your cat has been doing its business in your shoes since the sand was too dirty. This show is about as fun as finding out your cat gave your pregnant wife (or, if you’re female, you) toxoplasmosis and made her spontaneously abort. Yeah, that sounds about right. That is how enjoyable this show is.
I now need to throw up.

Speaking of Cats, I am thankful that FUNimation licensed the utter masterpiece that is Cat Planet Cuties
Remember the Abh aliens in Banner of the Stars? They were cat-lovers as well. Yet what do we learn of the Catia aliens in the entire show? They are nothing more than all super hot nekomimi chicks on heat, who love to cosplay. Ok… I mean, it is about cat women coming to Earth to have fun and mess with the life of the Archetypical Loser TM; anything other than that is just smokescreen. There are supposed to be conspiracies and alien invasions every now and then, spies double crossing, mecha firing energy beams and huge spaceships blowing up. All of these are presented in the most simplistic and rushed way possible, just as filler for the real focus of the show, which are excuses to have cat girls doing sexual stuff.
To be honest, the premise of the story could lead to something really interesting if it was taken seriously. I mean, it is about aliens coming to study human life and have fun while at the same time preventing their technology from being abused by shadow organizations and protecting the planet from being destroyed by their arch-enemies. Yet all we see is oversexualized nekomimis indulging in all sorts of deprived fetishes because it is supposed to be learning about the human culture… which in the context of the series consists of nothing other than hentai magazines and cosplay shops. Seriously, WTF? I know it is a comedy which makes fun of otaku culture but it is doing it in such a blunt way, it is offending to any sane person...especially to a cat lover like me. A special note must be given to the mascots of the show, those small cat android helpers. They are supposed to be cute and eye-catchy for us to like them. Only thing THEY ARE UGLY F**KERS. Their faces are just emotionless globes with two black spots and their movements are simplistic and not perky at all. They are distasteful critters and I hate them with all my heart! This show is not special in any way; neither does it try to offer anything out of the ordinary. In fact, it hardly tries to be average.

I don't know... I always check animes before I watch them to avoid seeing anything not to be seen by a younger person...
Soo, I guess it would be Naruto, not very pretty animation and Naruto's transformations are disturbing.
I see no point in watching something with that sort of stuff in it.
Also not a great story.
