TheMewster was banned for being so completely and utterly bannable. The Mods did not resist and Mewster felt it was justified. Yet when pressed for an answer nobody was to be able to say why TheMewster was so bannable, even the Mewster. It just felt right.
Philosophers and historians would discuss the banning of the Mewster for the rest of time until it was seen as a metaphor for something deep and impenetrable, a mystery, and enigma. "Like a Mewster banned so feels this angry longing within me," wrote Gibnet, world's second-greatest liver.
Eventually Dan Brown's Head wrote "The Mewster Code", which sold millions despite terrible reviews. With the mystery now officially kitsch it disappeared into the annals of time before being revived in a popsong, "Ban me like they banned Mew on the Discovery Channel"*
* at this stage the original circumstances of the banning became lost thanks to lots of bad story-telling.
