=Eulalia=
Eulalia ran at Berenike, ferocious, black flames following her quickly. Berenike kept her wings spread out in front of Reika and commanded the water to rise in front of them.
"Ha!" Eulalia cried maniacally, using the black flame whips to swallow the water up. Berenike's eyes widened for a split second before Eulalia wrapped the whips around her former dragon's neck, smiling maliciously face-to-face with Berenike. Berenike cried out from the deadly burns that the flames were causing. "It's over, 'Nike." And with that, Eulalia jabbed a kunai through Berenike's heart, slashing upwards and stunning the latter slightly. Berenike, however, calmed and smiled ruefully, the whips still wrapped around her neck.
"So... This is really what you want," she whispered, blood starting to spill from her mouth, as she fell gracefully towards the ground.
=Chrysanthe and Aristocles=
Aristocles stepped in front of the group, standing up straight at his full height. "Chrysanthe," he growled. Chrysanthe whipped out her dagger, got into a defensive stance, and clenched her jaw. "Oh, so you think you're strong enough to fight me?"
"As long as Sophia is with me," Chrysanthe replied confidently. Aristocles couldn't help but grin evily.
"Ha! Don't make me laugh." Aristocles laughed evily. "Now, look into my eyes, And don't even try to resist like you did earlier." This time, it was Chrysanthe's turn to smirk, which she did.
"Fine, then," she replied. She looked Aristocles in the eyes and glared. Aristocles chanted the spell.
"Now, Chrysanthe. Attack your enemy."
"Of course." And with that, Chrysanthe darted with lightning speed up to Aristocles and slashed him across the neck, though she didn't cut his throat. This sudden bout disobedience, since Chrysanthe was under a spell, surprised Aristocles. Chrysanthe stood infront of him in a defensive stance, holding her dagger infront of her chest to guard her heart.
"Chrysanthe... I said to attack your enemy!" Aristocles yelled at his former companion, grabbing her by her shirt collar, lifting her off the ground. Chrysanthe winced slightly at being handled, but didn't resist; she was used to it from her former days with Aristocles.
"I did," she replied simply. "You are my enemy. I do not serve Adarah or you anymore."
"But how did you resist the spell? You looked straight into my eyes! Glared, even!" Aristocles growled, shaking Chrysanthe roughly.
"Have you noticed anything different about my attire?" Chrysanthe asked. Aristocles, still holding her up by her shirt collar, looked her up and down.
"What are you talking about, you little--" Aristocles stopped when his eyes rested on the tiara that was placed on Chrysanthe's head.
"Sophia gave it to me. As long as I wear it, you cannot influence me," Chrysanthe explained. Aristocles became furious. He would take it off her head right then and there, but being a tiara of Sophia, Artistocles knew he probably couldn't take it off.
"I'm not your minion anymore," Chrysanthe stated, squirming slightly to try to get free.
"Oh, you want down? Fine then!" Aristocles snarled, throwing Chrysanthe violently across the hall. Chrysanthe hit the wall painfully with a cry of pain, falling to the floor on her stomach. "I'll deal with you later," Aristocles said before turning his attention from the abused Chrysanthe to the rest of the group. "Let's get this over with." He summoned black flames that were much like Eulalia's, only larger and hotter, and emitting a scent that could only be described as choking. The flames engulfed Aristocles, outlining his form, before he charged the group.
