Karin and Gorry followed Eruan.
"Is my sister all right?" she asked as they ran.
--Reika--
Reika saw a nice green outfit that looked like it would fit a baby. "I'll take that one." she told the tailor, handing her some prownes. When the tailor folded it up into a paper bag, she took it and said to Chrysanthe. "Well, that's it. Let's see what else is going on."
She waved goodbye to the tailor as they left.

"All right," Chrysanthe replied. She looked around and felt that something didn't feel right. Maybe I'm just paranoid... She thought.

--Reika--
As they left, Reika noticed her aunt Karin, Gorry, and Eruan.
OOC: Eruan should tell her what's going on.
--Joanne--
"Kilin, can you tell me where those pogbo are?"
Kilin concentrated. "They have all come to the graveyard. They must return there before sunrise."
Joanne rolled her eyes. Looks like I'm leading my lamb to the slaughter. she thought. "Come along, Ai, we still have time before the battle begins. You'll still have time to pay your respects, then we'll free these people."
Xavier looked up at his mother worriedly.
"What? Did you think I'd just leave because the town is cursed? What kind of mage do you take me for?" she asked her son.
"I'm just worried that I'm not going to have a nokisme." Xavier said.
"I have Sophia's protection. She is not through with me yet." Joanne assured him. She gave him a warm hug, sending calming waves into his body and quieting his fears.

[Twister980]

He stopped and turned to Reika, "We need to go... The Weeping Angels are coming."
He looked back at Gorry. "Joanne was fine when I left her." He then lead them down the streets and back to Joanne. "We're here..." He noticed that she and Xavier were embracing each other. With a smile he walked around them. "I'm going to try and find the masked guy again." He whispered to the others. He turned and began his trek down the streets, glancing into every alleyway. And looking up at every window. The curtains were all closed, of course, but every now and then, he would find someone standing by the window, looking out into the streets. He stretched out his mind, Saphira, I need you to fly over town for me. In answer he saw her swoop over head a minute later. What am I looking for? He smiled. A bright red dragon. He heard her chuckle. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Now, he thought to himself. Who, and where are the others? He scratched his chin thoughtfully.

[Masquerade1412]

Lann smiled, nodding to the two demon children.

"Yes, but briefly. I sort of went off on my own for a bit, but they are with Joanne who is very accepting. All I have to do is play nice. Can you two come up with disguises?"

Amarose pulled out two cloaks and gave one to Max.
"What do I do with this?" he asked.
"Wear it."
She pulled out another cloak and handed it to Lann. "So we all blend in. This should be a good enough disguise."

Adarah smirked, though the 'Mommy' bit wore on her nerves.

"Use the seeing pool and watch them....I want Anei back here."

Yagami waved farewell and went to the seeing pool. He looked into the water and saw three cloaked figures. "Perfect. Soon night will fall. And with it, the Resistance."

Trevor followed the man past a small door. He left it open enough for Revel to peek inside.
"Welcome to Quarantine Hill," the man said.
Huh?
The man coughed. "Sorry. Let me explain. Here in Quarantine Hill, all of the town's 'undesirables' live in despair. Not that it is really THAT bad. It is just not as good as the rest of the town."
He walked over to a counter. "It is hard to have a profession here, but I have managed one. I sell masks."

[Ally-Ann]

Chrysanthe didn't know what was going on and she scowled slightly at the concern in everyone's voices. "Who are the Weeping Angels?" She asked.

OOC: I'm not quite sure what to do with Eulalia yet...

[Diamond Dragon]

-Ai-
Ai hurried after Joanne, her heart thumping wildly. The Weeping Angels really scared her, yet she never told this to anyone.

ooc: I'm not sure what to do with Shiro either. ^^;;

OOC: Just have her tag along with Joanne, Dia.
--Raphael--
Raphael looked away for a moment. He hesitated as he received a telepathic message from Joanne.
"Eulalia. I think we've got trouble. Joanne wants us to meet up with her at the graveyard." Perfect, right into the lion's den.
OOC: There, now you have something to do, Ally. Have her follow Raph.

[Diamond Dragon]

-Shiro-
Shiro watched at Ai and Joanne went off somewhere. Curious, she followed them. Len followed behind her cautiously, occasionally sniffing the air with a sense of dread.

He growled to himself, he could hear Joanne's message, to meet up at the graveyard. So he closed his eyes, took that message, and scattered it. Hopefully the only ones to get the message would be riders, but even he couldn't send the message to more than one person at a time. Alright Saphira, if you do see them, just ask them if they got my message. He adjusted his bag. As for me, I'm heading for the graveyard. He looked to the left, and the right. He scratched his head. Which direction is it...? EAST. Saphira interrupted. He smiled. Thanks. He ran towards the graveyard, hand on the hilt of his sword.

[Ally-Ann]

--Raphael--
Raphael looked away for a moment. He hesitated as he received a telepathic message from Joanne.
"Eulalia. I think we've got trouble. Joanne wants us to meet up with her at the graveyard." Perfect, right into the lion's den.
OOC: There, now you have something to do, Ally. Have her follow Raph.

OOC: Why, thank you. =3

Eulalia's brow furrowed. "What sort of trouble?" She asked with suspicion as she followed Raphael. The graveyard? Why the graveyard, of all places? She thought with wonder.

OOC: Sorry about my random posts guys...I feel like a bad gm. (Thank Iawia for Rockie!) I am going to start in with the Weeping Angels here VERY soon....so be ready.

OOC2: @Mr. Masq--the seeing pool is all blood btw. Adarah is pretty sick, so have fun with your imagination. >:)

Eruan skidded into the graveyard, "They're coming." He drew Bedaestael from it's sheath, the blade seemed to shine, anticipating a battle.

Masks? Trevor thought.
The man pulled out a snow white mask. It looked a lot like the one on Trevor's face, but it also covered the eyes. "I made this mask a long time ago. I saw you and your dragon and I thought for sure you would make the most of it. I wouldn't advise you wearing it too often, though. It has a tendency to frighten others."
After paying the merchant, he closed the door behind him, wearing the white mask.
Hello, Revel said. I don't believe we've met?
Revel, it's me.
Me? I'm me. Who are you?
It's Trevor!
Trevor!! How nice to see you again!
Trevor sighed. The man gave me a mask...
Maybe you could use it in your next fight!
Revel...You know how I feel about fighting...Only if I have to...

Kilin spotted Trevor and Revel with his dragon sight (which is two times better than an eagle's btw). He sent them telepathic messages telling them they may be needed in the graveyard.
It didn't take long for everyone to arrive at the graveyard.
Joanne looked around. "It is as I feared. Those statues are actually alive." She flipped through the book. "According to the book, we must keep them in sight at all times. Even if you so much as blink, they will move. They can only move if you don't look at them." She spotted Therese's grave. "In the meantime, Ai, here is where your mother's body rests. You know what to do."

Eruan stared at one of the statues, it had covered it's eyes, like it couldn't bear to look at anyone. He shook his head. He remembered a sentence in the book, how they would be able to posses anyone who stared at them for too long.

OOC: Reference to one of the newer episodes.

Joanne clasped her hands together and prayed using the ancient language of the angels. Within seconds, her body glowed with celestial energy.
"I am now a living conduit of Sophia's power." Joanne announced. "They cannot harm me."

[Ally-Ann]

Everything had happened so fast to Eulalia and Chrysanthe. Eulalia's brow furrowed when she heard Joanne explain the Weeping Angels. She whipped her double-bladed sword out and got into a defensive stance, not taking her eyes off of one of the statues as she prepared her mind on how to fight if need be. This is just my luck. Berenike's not here and I have to compete in a staring contest with a statue...

Eruan glanced back and forth between the Angels, Saphira, I could use some help right about now. She landed about a yard behind the angels, carefully so she wouldn't crush any of the gravestones. What shall I do? He nodded to them. Keep an eye on them, they can't move if we watch them. She stared at the others, and Eruan risked a glance at the sky.

[Lockon Stratos]

"Well, this is boring. Why can't we just smash them? It seems like the obvious answer to our problem doesn't it?" Feld had entered the graveyard shortly after we had. After being told to stare at the statues, I had picked one with a nasty looking axe. It looked like something I really didn't want to mess with.

[Diamond Dragon]

-Ai-
Ai stood up after paying her respects to her deceased mother. She clutched her staff, glancing around nervousely.

-Shiro-
Shiro hovered several inches above ground, staring at one statue that had a long bow.

Eruan threw his sword at the Angel with the bow, it cut the string, and stuck to the statue. He hissed. Great, now if only I could call it back. He smirked, Actually... A slight mist moved across the graveyard towards his sword, he bent the cold mist, and froze the statue, he ran across and yanked out the sword, shattering one of the angels. "Hah!" He glanced at the others, who had uncovered their eyes, and were now glaring at him.

Reika arrived at the right moment.
"Nokisme, what's going on? What do we do?" Reika asked nervously, her fear very easy to see.
"Come closer, child, your talents will be needed." Joanne coaxed.
"But I-I.." her daughter stammered.
Joanne sent waves of courage into Reika. She no longer felt fear. She placed her total trust in her mother. She walked closer to her and placed her hands in her mother's hands. Celestial energy combined with her own light energy.
"Brylin, give Reika your speed. Light and Spirit are the most effective weapon against the angels. Do you understand what you must do?" Joanne asked.
Reika nodded.
Raphael placed a hand on Reika. "There, I've placed a special barrier over your mind. You are now protected from their influence."

[Lockon Stratos]

Looks like smashing them is an option. Feld.
I understand.
Good. We're gunna get it oonn now.
I started flinging fire at the axe-carrying statue. After it got hot enough, I sliced it clean through with my sword. "Well that worked."
OOC: These things need to be whole to fight, right?

[rocklobster]

OOC: They can fight without being whole too. Watch out for flying disembodied hands! Sorry, but the only way to really destroy them is with spirit and light energy. Brandon's only slowing them down. Hope you don't mind that.

[Lockon Stratos]

OOC: Thought so, but that just makes it more fun.
"Okay, that's one down." You ever hear a statue walk. Well, until then I hadn't either, so hearing this odd sound coming from behind, I did what anyone would do. I turned around, to find out that the two halves of the statue was crawling towards me.
"All right, now that's not normal. At least I slowed it down. All right, let's see you move when you're powder!! Feld!!"
With pleasure. There's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a serpentine dragon crushing something into dust in her coils.
OOC: I didn't just make a big mistake, did I?

Eruan looked back at the statue he had destroyed, and noticed that the pieces had moved towards him. Oh, great. So ice can't destroy them then. Saphira growled at the statues. Fire will not work either, will it? Eruan nodded sadly. "Zelka Joanne, can we destroy these at all?"

[Lockon Stratos]

"Yes, that's how you do it!!" *Achoo* "Wow, maybe grinding it up wasn't such a good idea." I found out that I was right, in more ways than one. The dust was still alive, and it was angry at me for wrecking its body, so it decided to take over mine. It went up my nose and mouth, got into my blood and took over. Unwillingly, I turned towards Joanne and Reika, sword at the ready. I couldn't even shout a warning before I charged straight at them.

[Phantom_Sorano]

OOC: Thanks for starting the fighting Rock.

Morigan felt a huge wave of uneasiness sweep through her; something was definately happening and it felt utterly evil. She looked at Nefron, who was wearing a troubled face.

"Is there anything I can do?"

"I don't think so....perhaps Minerva...."

"I'll get who I can to safety then..."

"Thank you..."

Morigan took her angelic form; and with silver wings soaring, raced to the scene where she felt it strongest: the grave yard where she saw Joanne and her daughters fighting. Her heart fell into a momentary panic before she went into action, seeing the man who had just joined the Resistance party lunging at Joanne and Reika, and blocking his sword with a holy shield. He was strong, but she planted her feet to hold him back.

"Do not look at them and try not to breathe in the air directly!"

She spotted Shiro out of the corner of her eye and remembered what her mother had said: to watch and aid her. The girl was armed with a bow trying to fight off the creatures; the angel did her best to say an annointing prayer to bless the weapon so Shiro's spiritual power could shine through.

[Ally-Ann]

The sounds of others fighting made Eulalia turn her head in alarm. Out of the corner of her eye, she had just enough time to see one of the statues before it attacked her, knocking her onto the ground and scratching at her face, leaving a cut. Eulalia, with quick and nimble reflexes, swung at the statue with her sword, whacking the arm off at cotact. Chrysanthe looked horrified at the statue's attack and, with shaking hands, drew her dagger and stared at another statue that she had noticed moving towards her.

I wish Aristocles was here...

Eulalia kicked the angel off her and jumped up onto her feet quickly, wiping the blood away from her face. "Filthy pigs!" She growled, getting into a defensive stance.

[Masquerade1412]

While most everyone was on the ground, Trevor was in a nearby tree trying to get a hit on some of the Pogbo, and he was missing every single one.
Come on! Why can't I hit them!?
Revel was underneath the tree, attempting to scorch the statues. Unfortunately, he seemed to have little effect on them.
Revel... Trevor said. You can't melt a statue!
Watch me! The Red dragon breathed fire in the face of one of the statues. The Pogbo's face turned black, but the statue was still whole.
Told you!
Wait for it... The statue did not move, so Revel knocked it down. How's that!?
It would be fine...If that actually helped! Trevor fired a flaming arrow at the wandering hand, and it staked it to the ground. About time!
