A small smile crossed Eruan's face. "Your welcome."
Looks like you've had a good day hatchling. Saphira walked up beside Len.
He glanced towards Xavier, who had run off to talk to Brandon. Then back to Shiro.
He scratched the back of his head. "So..." He couldn't get the words out right away.
Patience Hatchling. He sighed. "Would it be okay if Saphira and I walked around town with you and Len today?"

"Of course I know you." Xavier said to Brandon. "We met the first day of camp. I call everyone I meet yopa or yosi. Nokisme said I should." He turned to Eruan. "The more the merrier, yopa Eruan."
OOC: For those who can't guess, yosi is sister. Yopa is brother, but it's used strictly for those unrelated to you. It's kind of like calling a friend "bro".

Reika laughed. "You act as though you've never been outside much." As they walked inside, the tailor greeted them with a slight bow.
"Wegcha." said the tailor.
"Do you have anything for a baby? I'm not sure what it's going to be, though." Reika asked.
"You seem a bit young to be having children." joked the tailor.
"Oh, it's not for me. I have a new loja coming soon." Reika blushed.
"And what about you, [i]regse~?" the tailor asked Chrysanthe. "See anything you like?"
OOC: Wegcha is like saying "good afternoon". Loja is the masculine word for cousin. Regse means "young lady".

"Alright, then what do you want from me?"
OOC: Not sarcastically, in the form of an honest question.

Raphael walked over to the merchant. He picked up a dagger and sensed dark energy. "Sir, all these weapons of yours are actually cursed. Is there anything not cursed in this town?"

The rag-covered man took back the dagger. "Nonsense! You don't have any idea what you are talking about!"
He pulled out a golden arrow. "See this! Pure gold, with a diamond tip. One strike from this will annihilate any evil creature! And it was blessed by none other than the Priestess Hanna!"

Lann eagerly grabbed Yagami's hands.

"I will do anything! I accept!"

"All right, all right!" Yagami calmed the overly eager Lann down. "Here is what we will do."
He motioned for the two in the corner to come forward. "These are my children, Max and Amarose. They will journey with you to a place called 'Weeping Willows'."
Both Max and Amarose gave a slight bow, trying to contain their excitement. This was going to be their first real mission without Yagami. It was sure to be interesting.

"... All right. Just don't touch the blade. But if you have to, don't put any force on it," Eulalia advised. "I don't want you losing a finger. I just need it sharpened a little bit." Eulalia's attention then turned to another merchant who was selling "blessed" weapons. Eulalia smirked. What a fool. If those weapons were really blessed and he knew it, he wouldn't be selling them. Still though, if I didn't know better I would buy one.

The merchant carefully lifted the sword and inspected it. "Amazing craftsmanship. This is truly high quality!"
He looked over his shoulder and said quietly, "I'm not supposed to be doing this, but you seem trustworthy enough."
The man reached underneath the counter and pulled out a small box. It opened to reveal a variety of rings and necklaces. "The shops are going to start selling these next week. These rings are said to increase a Dragon Child's power, but I am not sure if they really work. They are very valuable, though. While I'm sharpening your sword, you can take a look through the box. If you find one you like, I might be able to give it to you at a discount!"

[Ally-Ann]

The merchant carefully lifted the sword and inspected it. "Amazing craftsmanship. This is truly high quality!"
He looked over his shoulder and said quietly, "I'm not supposed to be doing this, but you seem trustworthy enough."

She thought for a moment and decided, against her better judgement, that it couldn't hurt to at least try one on. She tentatively picked it up before slipping it onto her right hand's ring-finger, her expression neutral while she was inwardly admiring the color.

OOC: Didn't know if the ring was supposed to be a specific color or not...

"I've met this Priestess Hanna. She is a con artist with a white dragon that was painted silver to fool the simple-minded." said Raphael. "My father punished her by draining her of her power. Now she can't even conjure up a gentle wind." he laughed.

Xavier pointed to the caramel-covered apples. "Could you buy me one of those?" he asked Brandon.

She thought for a moment and decided, against her better judgement, that it couldn't hurt to at least try one on. The merchant came back with newly sharpened sword. "Here you go, Miss. Oh, I see you have found something you like!" He laid the sword gently on top of the counter. "Tell you what, pay for the sharpening, and you can keep the ring!"

Shiro shrugged. "Sure, I guess so." she said to Eruan.

Ai kept an eye on Reika and Xavier, while she stood beside a stand. However, she was starting to feel uneasy. This whole place feels full of negative energy... she thought.

[Lockon Stratos]

"Hm, you know what, you're lucky kid. I just got some cash, and I'm feeling generous. Here take this." I flipped one of my coins towards the kid.

Eruan grinned. "Alright, well." He gestured to the town. "You guys wanna vote on where we go next? They have a bookstore at the end of town, and I think they have a few archery stands." He quickly scooped up the kendama and tossed some coins onto the cart. "And one of you gets to have this."

OOC: Okay, I guess I should tell everyone the official Krangorian currency. They're called prowds.

Raphael turned back around to see Eulalia. He came over to her, hobbling.
"Um, let's just get out of here. I'm really wearing out my welcome."
OOC: Could we have Chrysanthe ask Reika about Joanne?

Xavier took the apple. Then he noticed the kendama and exclaimed "Me! Me! Are you good at archery, yopa Eruan?

OOC: Okay, I guess I should tell everyone the official Krangorian currency. They're called prowds.

Raphael turned back around to see Eulalia. He came over to her, hobbling.
"Um, let's just get out of here. I'm really wearing out my welcome."
OOC: Could we have Chrysanthe ask Reika about Joanne?

Eulalia looked at Raphael's leg and raised an eyebrow. "I can see that," she stated simply. "What happened? I was distracted by... something else." Eulalia put her sword back into her scabbard and casually folded her hands behind her back.


=Chrysanthe=

Chrysanthe looked around at all different things in the store. She had never really been inside a store since she was little, and this wasn't even the type of store she had been in. Maybe I could ask now...

"I was wondering, Reika... Could you... Could you tell me about Joanne?" She asked quietly.

[Twister980]

Eruan chuckled, and handed the kendama to Xavier. "Are you good at archery, yopa Eruan?" He shrugged. "That depends, I've hunted before, so I'm pretty good, but that depends on whether I'm on foot, or on Saphira." He grinned nervously. "I'm not so good on Saphira." Saphira growled. He almost pierced my wings once.

OOC: Saphira does not speak out loud, but uses telepathy.

With his chest heaving for air, Trevor supported himself on his knees.
....Lost them....
Trevor looked around at the strange dark alley. It was midday, but here everything was grey.
Revel chuckled. Did we lose them?...Or did they let us go?....

OOC: Rockie, let me know when you want to initate the plan.

Lann nodded eagerly at Yagami; he was ready to serve his queen.

"My Queen, how will I get to Krangor? And with what dragon?", he said looking at Sajuuk in disgust. "This creature is weak and insubordinate."

"True", replied Adarah, "you will take the black dragon Uraun. Sajuuk will be dealt with accordingly. As for Krangor....hmm...Yagami should be able to cast a spell strong enough to get you there. Just remember...I want my sister back. Retrieve her at all costs."

"I understand, My Queen. Master Yagami...I am ready."

Bartaine drew Aaliyah in as the other demons dispersed to hear what the golden-haired goddess had in mind for him. He grew more intrigued as he listened.

"So Ariel wants this action?", he said at last.

"Yes...Adarah would not be expecting it...she is still young and new to her powers and the reaches of Heilgrad."

"And you are aware?"

"I spend more time venturing this realm than your young queen."

"Ah....I see....so you had to be human at one point then?"

"Yes. Part of my soul Pandora had and Iawia the other."

"I see....and no wonder Micheal had to have you for himself."

"I don't think Micheal 'had' to have anything. But if you have issues with him, speak to him yourself."

"I would, but I cannot enter Adelphi....being a High Order demon and all..."

"That's far from my concern. But my message it delivered."

"Very well. Take these then. The recipents will understand their meanings."

The beautiful demon then handed her two different articles from his sash. One was a bundle of white and black sticks tied in a simple red cloth; the other a golden apple.

"The bundle is for your lil' goddess...the apple for Micheal. They are not cursed objects, I assure you. Test for yourself. You will leave her unscathed as a sign of my good nature."

"A demon with a good nature is a tad ironic."

"I am more cunning though. To waste you now would not be beneficial, though I look forward to when you return to me."

"I will make sure to bring others then...a private audience with you is rather disgusting."

"What a pity....and you are so beautiful too...."

"How kind. Thank you for your time, Bartaine."

"Not even a goodbye kiss?"

He grabbed her arm and pulled her forward; the angel replied with a forceful hit into the demon's teeth. He reeled back and began to spit out blood and a few pointed fangs.

"I don't like to be touched.", Aaliyah replied as she turned and drew her scythe, slicing into pure light and quickly disappearing. The demon coiled at the light and was left to think.

Eruan sighed, and began walking down the road. The streets were empty...
Saphira...? She raised her head, and looked around herself. Where did everyone go? Eruan glanced in between the buildings. "Alright, this is weird..." He looked into one alley, a dragon and the masked boy. He stretched out his mind towards them. Are you two alright?

A merchant overheard Eruan.
"What you don't know?" she whispered. "Our town is cursed."
She looked up at Joanne "Are you here to save our town from the curse?" she pleaded with her expectant eyes. "Please. Our people have been dying brutally and almost instantly. It is the pogbo!"
Joanne almost dropped her staff in surprise. "No." she whispered. "Ai, we must hurry and pay our respects to your mother before nightfall. We only have three hours."
She then turned to Eruan. "Get everyone you can from our party. We must leave soon. The pogbo are very dangerous. No one has seen them and lived to tell about it."
OOC: pogbo is the Krangorian name for the Weeping Angels. Also, a day on Krangor is 6 hours longer than a day on Earth.

"My mother? She's the most kindest woman I've ever known. When she holds me, I feel so peaceful and safe. I'm very blessed to have a mother like her. She treats everyone as if he was her own child. I try my best to treat others like she does, but it's not always easy. You've talked to her haven't you?" Reika asked Chrysanthe.

"This merchant apparently doesn't like the truth about his wares. He's been tricked by one of the worst con artists I've ever known."
He noticed a puppet show. "Hey, why don't we check that out. My leg will heal in a bit. We angels are super-fast healers."

[Twister980]

Eruan turned back to Joanne. Nodded, then turned back to the two in the alley. You heard her, right? He gestured over his shoulder. Best idea would be to stay by Joanne. Or you can help me go find the others. He glanced back at Xavier and Shiro. "Xavier, how many more of us are there?"

[Lockon Stratos]

Pogbo? I thought those were only fairy tales. Well, I guess if normal angels exist, then they can too. I think I should tag along with the little guy. Strength in numbers. "Hey, Eruan, right? Wait a second."

[Diamond Dragon]

Ai's face was a picture of shock. She had heard about the Weeping Angels, and how brutal they were. No wonder everything here is cursed! she thought.

Shiro's eyebrows shot up, and she exchanged at look with Len. They also knew about the dangers of the Weeping Angels.

He glanced back, "Brandon, okay, now... Where's Alen? I saw him awhile back..."
His eyes widened. He slowly reached into his bag and pulled out the book. The title had rearranged itself. It now said: 'The Weeping Angels.' He opened the book, the pages had all gone blank. He shut the book and stuffed it into the bag. Pogbo...
He looked back and forth. "We need to hurry. They'll be here soon..." He reached back into the bag. "Joanne. Catch." He tossed the book to her. "Found that at the store at the end of town. Might help us, but the pages have gone blank."

Eulalia looked in the direction of the puppet show. She shrugged. "Whatever floats your boat," she said. She had been feeling oddly mellow for most of the day. She was mentally shocked that she hadn't really boasted or belittled anyone yet. Maybe's it's because Chrysanthe's finally here... She thought.

Chrysanthe nodded. "I have, but... It's just... I was just raised differently. I mean, I've been loved, but your mother is just so different from the... people... that I've been around, that's all," she replied, doing her best to choose her words carefully so as not to give away who she was actually raised by and following.

Feld, get here quickly. It looks like there's going to be trouble.

A man in a cloak appeared from around the corner. He motioned with one hand and disappeared.
That was odd... Trevor thought.
Let's follow him! Revel darted off in the direction of the stranger.
Wait, Revel! Trevor shouted as he followed the eager dragon.

"Now, understand that once I send you, you are on your own. I do have sources, but they are limited. Here we go!" Yagami muttered a spell and a glowing circle appeared beneath them, which enveloped them. The light soon faded, and the party was no longer there.

"There." Yagami wiped the sweat from his brow. "They should be right outside the city now." He turned to Adarah. "Is there anything else you need, Mommy?"

Max and Amarose opened their eyes and saw the darkened city.
"Finally! We can go crazy in this town!" Max was about to rush off, but Amarose grabbed his arm.
She turned to Lann. "Have you met anyone of the Resistance before?"

Joanne caught the book and gave an uncharacteristically sarcastic smile. "My child, I am a servant of truth. Nothing is hidden from me."
"Xavier, why don't you stay with us. Eruan can take care of himself." Kilin said.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Xavier said, almost shivering.
"There are eight more people you have to search for, Eruan. To make things easier, I saw Gorry and Karin talking with a blacksmith. I think Gorry was selling some of his latest weapons."
--Reika--
Reika came closer to Chrysanthe. She's never truly known love? How awful! she thought. "You have nothing to fear from us. I don't know what you may have heard, but we can be your family now. Joanne thinks of everyone as a son or daughter and if you've talked with her, then to her you're family. Eulalia has told me that like her, you are also an orphan. My mother and her twin sisters were orphanned by a servant of Pandora when they were ten. All they have ever had since was each other. But because she is a Silver Dragon Child, she draws people to her, and they become her family. That is the power she possesses. That's why I am proud to call her nokisme. And now, she is your nokisme too" She wrapped her arms around Chrysanthe's waist. "Welcome to our family, yopi."
OOC: Yopi is an informal word for "big sister."

"Got it." Eruan nodded. He ran through the abandoned roads, slipping through alley ways, until he found the blacksmith he was looking for. He took in a deep breath, and stepped inside. "Gorry, Karin, you in here?" He spotted the two. "The... Weeping Angels. They'll be here soon." He glanced out the door, "We're regrouping just down the street."

[Ally-Ann]

=Chrysanthe=

Chrysanthe stiffened slightly when she was touched, but relaxed when Reika sounded genuine. She hugged back, for once feeling like she belonged somewhere.

Chrysanthe. Stay loyal to our dark mother, Chrysanthe heard Aristocles's voice say out of nowhere. Remembering what her mission was and who her loyalty was for, the realization that she was to turn on these people later on hit her like a ton of bricks that sank to the pit of her stomach.

I won't be able to stay here. Chrysanthe thought with sorrow. No matter! It... it probably is a charade! I mustn't become attached! She thought, masking the grief in her eyes expertly with a smiling face.

--Karin and Gorry--
Karin and Gorry followed Eruan.
"Is my sister all right?" she asked as they ran.
--Reika--
Reika saw a nice green outfit that looked like it would fit a baby. "I'll take that one." she told the tailor, handing her some prownes. When the tailor folded it up into a paper bag, she took it and said to Chrysanthe. "Well, that's it. Let's see what else is going on."
She waved goodbye to the tailor as they left.

Lann smiled, nodding to the two demon children.

"Yes, but briefly. I sort of went off on my own for a bit, but they are with Joanne who is very accepting. All I have to do is play nice. Can you two come up with disguises?"

Adarah smirked, though the 'Mommy' bit wore on her nerves.

"Use the seeing pool and watch them....I want Anei back here."
