Actually, I found a gif online from Season 2, where Rainbow Dash is lassoed off a cloud, but the thing is, is that she lost all her color.

I just want to point out something. Discord took away Dash's wings and said "No cheating."

This confirms that Dash was cheating in Fall Weather Friends.

They said early to mid 2012.

I agree with this statement.

All i've got to say is, you guys think the war now between ponies and non-ponies is getting hot. Watch what'll happen when they decide to make a Rainbow Brite remake. Just sayin' >.>

No, that just means Discord perceived it as cheating. And if Discord is a villain, his word's not necessarily sound. 8P

Dat episode.

Discord is as fantastic a villain as I thought he'd be.

The dark adventure-type story is something to get used to after so many light-hearted episodes in season 1, but I still like it.

Also, chocolate rain and so many Goblet of Fire jokes.

RAINBOW DASH CONFIRMED FOR WORST PONY OF THE YEAR ALL YEARS.

I did like how Discord had to say "Screw it" and manually turn Fluttershy though, that was pretty hilarious. It all seems a bit too rushed though. I mean seriously, Applejack's going to trust the evil-sounding piles of apples? Pinkie's going to seriously believe the balloon faces are her friends? I guess you could say he used a bit of magic/hypnotism to turn them, but then that makes what he did to Fluttershy less interesting (because he did it with AJ and Pinkie too, just not as directly). However, the Rarity one was really well-done, as was the Rainbow Dash one (because he definitely COULD be destroying Cloudsdale).

Anyway, excited to see what episode 2 will bring!

Awwww... I thought the Rainbow Dash thing was kinda sad. She puts her home/family before her friends. You would too if you faced it. OKAY. SHORT RANT IS OVER.

Watched it on Saturday. It's awesome.

I love Discord. I was expecting a completely different villain (the pic I saw of him looked darker, I guess) but his real character was a pleasant surprise.

I wish I didn't have to wait a week for part 2. B[

It made me quite happy.
What a great start to the season! Discord is a lot of fun. I hope that he isn't just a pilot episode character. Can't wait for episode 2!
