Finished
Prince of Persia (the '08 game) the other day. Yeah, I'm really current.
I had a lot of fun with this. (Still am, I've been hunting down light seeds.) The platforming was fun, once I stopped confusing it with
Tomb Raider's. XD I really don't have any problems with the game besides the ending, which didn't really make sense to me. It looks like a sequel was planned, but even with that in mind the last few minutes baffled me.
"Oh hey, we just spent
the entire game making sure this guy didn't get out. But dang, killing him means this random chick I've been bantering/flirting with dies! Well, I'm gonna save her, even though Ahriman will kill or corrupt us both first chance he gets." I mean... what? It hardly sounds like the Prince. And it didn't look like he and Elika were 'in love' enough for him to make that choice anyway.
Also, Ahriman wasn't able to get out when he was first 'released' before (by the same process our Prince went through)--he had to gather power, and the heroes had all day to banish him again. But now he can suddenly explode with his dark evilness and cover the entire visible landscape within seconds.
