Yeah I heard about the new live-action movie. The best part about it is Takeru Sato is going to play Kenshin. Toku fans will know him from playing Ryutaro, the main lead, on Kamen Rider Den-O!

...so they are going to try to do a live action version of Trust and Betrayal? While I admit that is the part of the story that lends itself best to live action adaption, they are going to have one tough act to follow. Trust and Betrayal was amazing.

I will remind you that Kenshin has his scar, plus 'the gang' all shows up, so I am not thinking it will be Trust and Betrayal.

However, I am super disappointed that they aren't taking the shonen action version of Kenshin for the fights.

Using special moves, shouting attack names, having large amounts of dialogue while fighting, especially with the enemy.

Basically Kenshin's fights except for the flashback.

I seriously doubt that they will do a "Trust and Betrayal" Live action adaptation.

I think the images of Kenshin fighting were probably an "introduction" type thing. Remember at the beginning of the anime how Kaoru is narrating what the Hitokiri Battousai is? I think that's what we are seeing.

Not to mention, we see Kaoru and Sano and Megumi... big hint there that we are probably not going to see a TaB movie. ^^;

AWESOME! I'm a big fan of Kenshin and martial arts films in general. I hope this comes out in the U.S. I always thought If they were to adapt an anime to live action this one would be perfect.

Oh yeah, I see. But I can also see why they wouldn't. It would take up too much film time.
Unless they were actually going to do a series, then maybe they could include something like that.

I have high hopes for this new Kenshin movie and the upcoming Shingeki no Kyojin movie in the fall of 2013.
