*Mangafanatic sets up a HUGE wrestling ring over which is a sign reading"The Rei vs. Kaoru match". She sets up a booth for bets*
Mangafanatic: Alright people, I'm accepting bets right now. *People stampede manga's booth and, in true anime-form, she turns into a wide-eyed chibi figure and runs away. Crowd subsides and mangafanatic returns just as the announcer enters his box and turns on his P.A.*
Announcer: Welcome to the match of the century, folks. Yes, today's battle should be spectacular. Two women, pitted against eachother for the timeless accolade of "Caa's best bishoujo." It should be-- Oh, wait, folks, it appears our first contender has arrived.
*Kaoru jumps into the ring, surrounded by spectators, and begins twirling her sword, doing gravity-defying jumps, and hair splitting combat tricks. A cloud of rose petals appear out of no where and swirl around her in perfect formation just as she strikes her sparkly eye pose.
Crowd applauds*
Announcer: That was spectacular! I have never seen such grace, such flair, such poise. Oh, I'm afraid this battle is one sided. There is nothing on earth that Rei could do to defeate such a samarai princess. Yes, this battle will truly be--
*Seemingly out of thin air, Rei materializes in an Eva and squashes sparkly-eyed Kaoru. Crowd does this O_____o, then takes up their pitch forks and chases after Mangafanatic who is escaping out of the fire escape with all their cash just to teach them that gambling is bad.*
Yes, children, this story teaches us three things. 1) we should vote for Rei--- cause Kaoru already is a co-owner of a CAA trophy 2) gambling is bad, and---um 3) morals are far more convincing in sets of three.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill.
Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.
Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.
But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence.
