Yes, our second Sakura Chat was great fun! Thanks to everyone who participated--Icarus, Belldandy, Kenzo, Vyse, and myself were there. It's okay, Hikari! We missed you, but we'll definitely have another chat!

And thanks so much to Belldandy for setting the chat up again. Belldandy will be back on CAA in only a few days! :jump:

I'm so sorry I wasn't at the chat! I was going to be, and then my computer died. Literally. Windows needs to be re-installed or something. I was all set. It was two minutes to four and all of the sudden.

None of us could make the chat because we lost our internet connection. I blame Elric_kun for it. :lol:

HEHE, jk jk No, we've been having this trouble on and off and I think it has to do with SBC.

Anyways, I'm glad those who made the chat enjoyed it.

Our trip to Missouri was cancelled, as you all have noticed, since we've been on CAA over the weekend.

Spiritsword, are you and I going to have questions this time around?

I can sympathize with failing computers and internet. Every so often, our (extremely fast) internet goes down...thats a pain. And I used to format Windows every two month or so...but then I moved to Mandrake (for 1 month and its still fast)

*commercial mode* Linux gives me the confidence to know then when I remove something, it's GONE.

Hm... yes i'll have to agree! for three days straite the computers at my school
(and the school district) have been down because of a virus!

Okay, I have a new question for everyone! If you could spend one day with any CLAMP character, but only one character and one day, who would it be and why?

And a new announcement! The members who will try to stump Chloe and I this month with Angelic Layer questions are Elric and Hikari! You two can work together to come up with five Angelic Layer-related questions for Chloe and I, and post them on this thread. My only request is that you don't post any questions that contain spoilers from the end of the AL anime (after volume 5), because I haven't seen it yet. Thanks!

Well where should I start?
I am finally back on CAA!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
I have just gone through reading all of the posts since I have been off and I will leave comments as I go so here goes nothing . . .

Referring to the first chat and what CLAMP chacters we are like:

Thats tough! But a good question! Hmmm out of the episodes I have seen, which arent all of them . . . I would have to say the one with the Mirror and Illusion cards, I love how you get to see more of the closeness between Sakura and Tory! It was sooo cute! ^_^

As for the question, that's tough. For a guy, I'd probably say Yukito, cuz he seems like so much fun. He'd be neat to hang out with. For a girl, I'd probably say Tamayo. Tamayo just kicks butt. :brow:

Yuuko IS pretty cool, isn't she, Chibi? I have a feeling that a day with her would be quite interesting and full of surprises! XXXholic, by the way, is a good manga. It is darker than Tsubasa, and has themes of witchcraft in it. It has a good storyline and great art, and the characters are interesting too. I like Tsubasa better myself, but I enjoyed both books.

As for one character to spend a day with, I'd pick Sakura. Not only would it be cool to see all the Clow Cards in action, it would just be so uplifting to spend a day with Sakura! She's so sweet, caring, and upbeat it would really lift my spirits.

XXXholic is about a witch named Yuuko and a boy named Watanuki. Yuuko owns a shop, filled with all sorts of odd and eclectic items, and she will grant people's wishes--for a price. Watanuki sees spirits, which torment him. One day he ends up at Yuuko's shop, and she promises to grant his wish to be free of the spirits he sees. However, in return he has to work for Yuuko around her shop. The story revolves around Watanuki and Yuuko and their experiences and interactions with people, as Yuuko grants people's wishes. Sometimes XXXholic is dark, sometimes it's funny. Yuuko is an interesting character, and the storyline is intriguing.

Some themes that people may find questionable in XXXholic are themes of withcraft and magic. Also, Yuuko talks about the prices that people may have to pay for having their wishes granted, and one thing she mentions is souls, or pieces of souls.

XXXholic is a good series thus far, but I would recommend previewing it in the bookstore before buying to see if it is for you.

I loved reading both Tsubasa and xxxholic, but I preferred xxxholic, only because I think it had just such a unique story line, and topnotch dialogue.

It is dark in places, but I don't mind. It's all fantasy and I've never taken fantasy writers seriously. The stories are developed and the characters are written with all the experience a seasoned writer like Nanase could breathe into them. She is definitely at her peak in manga-kaing, as is all of CLAMP. I'd say Tsubasa and xxxHolic are their tour de force on the manga world, and these two recent books of theirs are the best you'll read - and I read A LOT of manga.

I would suggest you read both, because they relate one to another, just to get the full feeling dripped into the pages by CLAMP, and if you've read or watched other CLAMP you will definitely enjoy all the references to previous books and shows.

Now, who would I like to spend the day with? I'm really tossed with Kero and Yuuko. With Kero I would have a blast eating and playing video games all day, and then with Yuuko it would be exciting enjoying a day with her utter spontaneity. I love surprises. ^_^ That's a tough one.

Oh yes, and I never said Welcome back to Belldandy!!! :jump:

I liked Tsubasa better myself. ^_^ Fai is adorable. xxxHolic was pretty good too though. If that was real, Yuuko would end up being a friend of mine. Random spontaneous stuff happens all the time with me and she'd just add to the fun. *giggle*

Next question! If you could, who would you like to have for a sibling?

I'd like Touya, cuz I've always wanted a cool big brother, and Touya is awesome. ^_^

A sibling? Good question! I've never had a sister, and I would be such a doting older brother. I would choose Misaki or Sakura. They're both so upbeat and would be fun to be around. Misaki would be cool because she's a good cook, Sakura because she's a good athlete. If I had to choose, I would choose Sakura. Because she's a good athlete and active, we'd have a lot in common and would have a lot of things to do together. And I'm not too bad at math, so I could help her out with that.

Hmmm I would like for a big brother Touya! I think he'd be awesome and I have always wanted a big bro! I know he can be tough on Sakura and all, but its because he loves her and wants to protect her!
For a sister, Umi or Tomoyo (or both!
