Mario 3 on my PSP.

^_^

I liked resistance well enough, but I hated the last level. I hate swarms (would think I'd be used to them working in a School, now) and that whole level is one big swarm combined with a timing mechanism... Torture.

Manchester Cathedral was pretty frustrating, too, but it looked cool.

I gave up early on because of the stupid tank... I can't get through that level... no matter what I do. I need to get back into it.

Left 4 Dead

Awesome game I was late to the party for, definitely one of the top multiplayer experiences to be had in current gaming trends. Too bad the servers are all nearly empty in favor of the sequel.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

This game is hard. I'm mean hard hard. I'd always felt it was just because it was a lot of people's first Megaten, hadn't learned the system, the ropes, hadn't had the mechanics beaten into them yet, but no, it really is that hard.

Thanks for reducing my party to its last legs Dante, you hack.

If you bring your computer with you, you, MSP and Myself could hop on and have fun blasting the zombie hordes...I'll have to wait for updates and there's still a possibility that my comp might still be all crashy and stuff but its worth a shot.

Edit: Oh and I've been on a Pokemon kick as of late. Namely, Pokemon Platinum.

I went on a Virtual Console binge with some birthday money today, and picked up Kirby Super Star, Gunstar Heroes, Super Metroid, Super Mario RPG, and Shining Force 2, all games I've been looking forward to getting, so now I'm trying to play through them all at the same time. Switching between games should bring no end of amusement [especially between Metroid and Kirby - same genre (sort of), same control pad, very different controls].

I am now reliving fond memories with Earthworm Jim HD. If you've never played EWJ before, shame on you. If you have PSN or XBLA, download this now. Totally worth the $10.

I've been getting hardcore into the SMT series, having picked up Strange Journey, Persona 3 FES and Nocturne while at Otakon. And I'm playing all three.

Playing Half Life 2 on the PC. Just finished Half Life a few hours ago. I like a lot of games, but the Half Life series has to be my favorite.

Playing Cave story on my PSP. (remember Cave Story started its life as a FREEWARE game, as have a few of the most popular games today) Also FF9, also on the PSP.

Should the Upgraded version of Cave Story ever hit PS3 / PSP, I may consider getting that too. We'll see.

Playing Hotel Dusk: Room 215. I've always loved mystery stories, but one frustration is how I spend half my time wandering up and down the halls, knocking on doors, hoping for the next clue. The story seems to be picking up, though, so I doubt I'll be doing much more of that. Another complaint is that the game won't let me pick door locks with the pieces of wire that I just happen to carry with me. Or even let me break into things with my crowbar. Come on people, an interactive environment is a big selling point!

Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition.
Weirdest opening sequence ever.

I'm also messing around with Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

I haven't beaten Twilight Princess yet, but I've played Paper Mario:TYD before and beat it, I just love it. x) Everyone is like, "Who is that man with the saucy 'stache?!" XD It's so funny. Plus I love the system of battling.

Just finished MGS: Peace Walker. Those Metal Gear battles really take it out of you... Especially when the game doesn't care at all that you're out of ammo.

PM:TTYD is a hilarious game from start to finish. :) I agree with the battle system.

I'm playing Twilight Princess too; finally reached the City in the Sky, trying to get the last of the mirror of twilight...

Torchlight

Yeah, this again, with my new laptop specs. Running everything on high. Feels good man.

Maining a primarily defensive marksman alchemist build (i.e. wields a rifle instead of a staff, marginalizing magic to fill support/reactionary roles), so I'm not entirely sure I'm getting everything out of the class, but I'm enjoying myself nonetheless. Those apparently scaling enemy levels in bonus dungeons have got to stop though.

Also, need better equipment drops. Since I've started up playing again the only thing I've been switching have been accessories until I finally got an improved rifle and pair of gloves in the dead of the night.

Still playing Nocturne too.

Played some more Xenogears; now I'm in the mysterious and interesting Krelian's Lab. Getting really close to the end of the first disk!

I also played a bit of Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, both to try out our new controller and to show my sisters the ending, because they decided it was too boring to finish (and I sympathize). I'd forgotten what a good system the J&D gameplay is, though.
