National Day of Prayer

Postby Hitokiri » Sun May 02, 2004 6:02 pm

This concerns prayer but not a prayer request really. Had no clue where to put it.

National Day of Prayer is coming up this thursday. Maybe here at CAA we should do something special. Here's a suggestion is to lock all the forums except the Prayer Room and just let people post thier prayer requests andwe all pray for them (whoevers on).

I think it would be sweet if CAA did something like and would be a awesome dedication of faith.

Moved to the comment box...:) It will probably get more attention here.

BOOSTER: Hey, No.1! Where's my cake?!
SNIFIT 1: Booster, Sir! There's a 70% chance the object you're standing on is a cake.
BOOSTER: What? THIS thing's a cake?

You have the power to say anything you want, so why not say something positive?

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

I definitely agree - we should do something for National Prayer Day. With everything going on the world right now, we could use some serious prayers.

Thanks for bringing this to our attentions, Hitokiri! :thumb:

as sson as i posted this up, I thought of the comment box.

My local christian radio station is doing this thing were you pray for 10 epople in the area and hopefully, everyone in the Northwestern Ohio area will be prayed for!!

My school is doing a See you at the Pole where we just pray silently or out loud.

I just thought it would be cool if we do something like this. I would be more then happy to help with this event.
