Hi Sieg9986! I'm Madeline, and I'm new here too, but I guess since I'm on the board it's my duty to welcome you to CAA! I live in Florida too. 
Yup, it's the infinite swampland of much bugginess. But my tortoise seems to like it! As much as he can show satisfaction and approval...

wow, Madeline, you have a tortise, sw337, i'm a huge turtle/tortise fan!
I like a large list of animes, my tops are Planetes, Last Exile, Naruto, Shura no Toki, Cowboy Bebop, and a ton of others...the list literally goes on and on, lol. I watch on a regular basis, naruto and Planetes and a few others. My favorite color is a slate/granite/graphite kinda color, you know the ones with a tealish green mixed in with gun-metal gray.

It's nice i guess, if you can get over the sweltering heat and the insects half of the time :-/ besides that, the beaches are great, the scenery around the coast is beautiful and the weather is mostly clear, besides in the summer when we have long periods of rain and there are always risks of being hit by tornados and hurricanes, but so far where i live, we've been pretty lucky

Awesome!! Yes, I do. His name is Houdini, and he's a Russian Tortoise. ^^
He's kind of handi-capped; since he doesn't bite and he's missing the claws on his front feet. I kind of wish I would have named him Yotaru; that would have been cute. Feet, arms, they're all the same with tortoises you know! It's turtle-jitsu!

Oi, I understand your predicament with the AC all too well, trust me lol. There have been quite a few times when the AC has gone out in the 2nd floor of our old home durring summer....ooooh boy, you don't wanna go there heh.

Today it rained, and it was so hot that we just rolled down the windows and got soaked
Our friends tell us that it's like this in summer too, but worse...
I'm not sure I can handle it...these people have scared me out of my wits with stories of hurricanes and humidity, not to mention the mold and pollen...
I moved from the state where I was born, and I lived up in the mountains where it was really dry and hot and cold at night...but there was NO humidity whatsoever.
So, yeah, this is a shocker...
