Well...I finaly did it

Thanks to the people on this forum I have invested in both the complete Fullmetal Alchemist and Noein on DVD. They will arrive at my workplace tomorrow. I have been wanting to get FMA for some time, and you guys' high praise of the show gave me the final push. Noein is really the one you all can take full credit for. EVERYONE on this forum gives big ups to Noein. Although I knew what it was, I had really never heard any noise about it until I joined CAA. The absence of (what I consider) objectionable content is a big plus for me as well. My mother is sending Hunter x Hunter boxes 3 and 4 my way as a birthday gift. At least one is sitting at my post office as I speak. So, tomorrow I will be steeped in (...51+26+32=...) 109 episodes of new anime. Thanks for making my choices easier! Only one question: What am I exactly in for, anyway?

I haven't seen either of the latter two, but I know you're in for a complete bout of amazing concerning FMA! It's a masterpiece.

Sweet, congratulations! That is one awesome way to start a new year. =)

FMA is just a great story, with great action, great animation, great characters. Just great great great.

I've seen a lot of complaints about it on the net (usually followed by speeches on why FMA: Brotherhood is da best), but you can't please everyone. I think you'll like it though, there's a reason it's #2 on the AnimeNfo list.

I enjoyed Noein a lot. It struck me as an overall good show, though I never fell in love with it like a lot of folks here. Heck, even the pessimistic Psgels loved it to death. I suppose it's a hit-or-miss show, and although I appreciated it, guess I'm on the miss side. :( But hey! Variety of tastes is what keeps humanity interesting...

Hunter x Hunter - If you enjoyed the first two volumes, you'll LOVE the last two. They are so so incredible. Especially the York Shin arc at the end.

BTW, so you're aware, there's actually 2 openings for Hunter x Hunter. Opening 2 was supposed to appear in Volume 4, but Viz never put it in their DVD Set for unexplained reasons. You can see the opening for yourself here though:

Doc, all I have to say is that you are in for a lot of awesome! Lots and lots of awesome. FMA is excellent and Noien is also really rad. Both are some of my favorites.

FMA and Noein are definitely worth your money and time. Noein especially!
