When I was little, I'd always watch this movie with a bunch of different Christmas cartoons(and one with fish?), there was one where a man dresses up as Santa and makes presents out of house hold objects for orphans, one where two poor kids dream about a world of candy before Christmas morning, and of course Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer!
Other than that:
Charlie Brown Christmas
cartoon Grinch who stole Christmas
the first Santa Clause movie
Surviving Christmas

That was a very funny and a very good little Christmas special.

A Christmas Story. I love that one.

Roy, my wife's four year old niece has been watching Mickey's Christmas Carol pretty much non-stop for the last three weeks. It's a little surreal talking about Dickens with someone of that age. o.o

I really hate most Christmas movies, because they either completely ignore the true meaning of Christmas or just feel sickeningly sentimental to me. There are a few I like, though.

I watch It's A Wonderful Life every year with my family, and as long as we don't ever watch it any other time, it's okay and it doesn't get too old. I basically yawn my way through to the part towards the end where Clarence comes in, though.

I also really like the animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Boris Karloff, because it does justice to the book, and any movie that does justice to Dr. Seuss is awesome if you ask me.

A movie I recently watched that I found I liked is A Dog Called Christmas. It was pretty good for a Christmas movie.

Thankfully, my family has never had a Christmas movie watching tradition. After watching Die Hard, however, I think I am going to start one.

On a related note, is It's A Wonderful Life any good? Excessively sentimental or saccharine? I have somehow navigated through nineteen years of existence without ever watching it and am unsure as to whether this is a bad thing.

it's one of the best movies ever. It has a good message. It shows that everyone is important for some purpose.

It's a Wonderful Life is definitely worth watching, though perhaps not excessively XD Very well put together, and though it takes a sort of whimsical look at God and angels, it has a very good message.

Having recently seen the new Christmas Carol movie, I have to say that it's jumped to the top of my list of favorite Christmas movies. Awesome.

Yeah the new Christmas Carol film is easily #2 on my list, It would be on the top if were not for The Snowman...oh, that movie is just brilliant! >_<

Actually just finished watching A Christmas Story with the family on TBS. So I may be one for the few who does enjoy having the 24 hour marathon. It's tradition.

Other ones include:
White Christmas (Unlike A Christmas Story, I'm not as comfortable with the marathon. Maybe because it's AMC, but I'd rather watch it on dvd)

Oh man. I'd never seen The Christmas Shoes until last week, and... :waah!: Oh my goodness, I haven't cried that long and hard for a movie since Return of the King.... Definitely my favorite Christmas movie now.
